Description

Blade is a Common Natural-type fruit that costs 30,000 Beli or 100 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer. It equips the user with razor-sharp blade attachments on their limbs, granting a powerful passive that deflects incoming sword attacks automatically — including swords enhanced with fire, ice, lightning, or magic. Key moves include Razor Cyclone, which unleashes spinning blade slashes in a wide area, and Turbine Flight (F), a flight ability that actually gets faster as your HP drops. Blade's fast-casting moves and reliable stuns make it tough to dodge in PvP, and its ranged M1 attacks help a lot in grinding across all three seas. Large AoE hits and solid crowd control also make it a decent pick for Raids and Sea Events. A great all-rounder for beginners and intermediate players alike.

Moves & Abilities

5 moves
Moveset
TAP
Blade's Edge

The user creates sharp blades on their arm before swinging it around, releasing purple slashes in rapid succession that travel a good distance before dissipating. On contact, targets are slightly knocked back.

Z
Razor Cyclone
Mastery 1

The user forms blades on their arms, then launches themselves toward their cursor while cutting repeatedly in a purple horizontal cyclone pattern. This move is similar to Dual-Headed Blade's .

X
Blade Dance
Mastery 20

The user forms blades on their arms, spins rapidly, and creates a radius of slashes with a purple whirlwind-like effect. When the animation ends, NPCs or players are launched a medium distance upward. Holding the [X] key allows the user to execute the move for longer.

C
Saw Shredder
Mastery 50

The user rapidly spins blades on their arms before hurling themselves at the target. On contact, they slice the opponent in a purple X shape, slightly stunning them.

F
Turbine Flight
Mastery 80

The user creates rotating blades on their raised right arm, generating upward propulsion to fly. The flight speed increases as the user's HP decreases.

Pros

15
  • Blade's passive ability grants immunity to all sword attacks, including Aura attacks, as long as the user is ~104% of the enemy’s level, similar to Elemental effects.
  • Low mastery requirements.
  • Can be an alternative to Light or Ice in the First Sea due to its good M1 range.
  • Very cheap and easy to obtain.
  • Powerful for PvP.
  • Good combo potential — most moves combo into each other easily.
  • Good stuns.
  • Most attacks can break Instinct.
  • Good for Sea Events and Raids.
  • Easy to aim.
  • When used in the air, the user can float briefly.
  • Great for hitting enemies due to its range.
  • Can hit Sea Beasts.
  • Has multi-target damage.
  • Good range.

Cons

15
  • Most abilities deal poor damage, with most of the damage occurring only on the final tick.
  • Ice Trident and Light Spear can still damage Blade users.
  • Limited range.
  • Only four damaging moves instead of the usual five.
  • Rengoku and Saishi users can still stun Blade users.
  • Small range.
  • Very low damage.
  • Cannot aim up or down.
  • Attacking downward causes the user to float, preventing hits.
  • Attacking upward is nearly impossible due to M1 limitations.

  • Predictable.
  • Slight start-up.
  • Difficult to hit airborne enemies.

Trivia

10
  • 1Although Blade's passive ability avoids sword slash damage, it can also automatically parry swords with fire, freeze, electric, or magic effects.
  • 2However, some swords can still stun Blade users, specifically Saishi, Shark Anchor and Rengoku.
  • 3Blade is widely known for its sword immunity.
  • 4It is recommended to be a fruit main rather than a sword main when using Blade in the First Sea.
  • 5Many attacks look odd with R15 or layered clothing due to body stretching.
  • 6Blade is a good replacement for Elemental fruits at low levels since most First Sea enemies use swords. However, it becomes ineffective later due to limited abilities and lower damage.
  • 7Blade and Bomb are the only fruits with an M1 attack.
  • 8Blade is also the cheapest fruit with an M1 attack.
  • 9The price of Spring is exactly the double of Blade.
  • 10Blade is useful in PvP due to many bounty hunters being sword mains.

Blade — In-Depth Analysis

Blade (also known as the Saber fruit in older content) holds a B-tier position in 2026 — it's a Paramecia that enhances sword combat with energy blades, and while it's far from the flashiest option, seasoned sword mains respect it for the raw synergy with melee damage builds. In the current Sea 3 PvP environment it struggles against awakened logia users, but against similarly geared opponents it can trade surprisingly well thanks to its swift hitboxes.

The ideal setup is full Melee/Sword hybrid build, Shark race for the damage boost when health is low (great for clutch moments), and pairing with Yama or Dragon Trident for maximum damage output. Awakening priority should go to the blade beams since they add needed ranged pressure to what is otherwise an aggressive close-range kit. Mink is an alternative race if you prefer mobility over raw damage.

Blade costs 400,000 Beli or 550 Robux — one of the cheapest fruits in the game, which directly tanks its trade value. New players sometimes mistake its low price for low power, but veterans know it's just not a trading commodity at all. It's best treated as a stepping stone fruit for sword mains grinding their early sea levels.
