Description

Spirit is a Mythical Natural-type Devil Fruit that costs 3,400,000 Beli or 2,550 Robux. This rare fruit lets you channel two powerful spirit entities — the demon Ra and the angel Shu — in battle. Over time you passively collect spirit companions called Buddies who can attack, heal, or boost your speed when summoned. Key moves include Frostfire Grasp, which mounts Shu and hurls an ice block that stuns enemies, and Wrath of Ra, a massive spirit slam that punishes groups at mid-range. The flight move Sky Ruler handles mobility, while End of Times unleashes a devastating area blast. Spirit is not awakenable, but its dual-elemental toolkit gives it serious depth in PvP and solid performance in raids, making it a highly sought-after Mythical fruit for experienced players.

Summon Buddies

Summons Heavenly Buddies if the bar is on the blue side and Hellish Buddies if the bar is on the red side.

Z
Frostfire Grasp
Mastery 1

The user mounts on the Angel Buddy (Shu) and flies towards the position of their cursor. The user then summons an ice block, before bursting it with heat, damaging and stunning enemies.

X
Wrath of Ra
Mastery 150

The user sends the Demon Buddy (Ra) to the position of the cursor (this move can be held to reach further). The Demon Buddy (Ra) then explodes into a pillar of fire, damaging enemies and launching 4 fiery balls into the air. This move has burn damage.

C
Wrath of Shu
Mastery 250

The user mounts onto the Angel Buddy (Shu) and swiftly dashes to the cursor's location, then stomps on the Angel Buddy (Shu). This creates ice around the user as an AoE move. It also freezes enemies that get damaged by it.

V
End of Times
Mastery 350

The user commands both their Angel Buddy and their Demon Buddy (Shu and Ra) to shoot a beam of ice and fire respectively towards their cursor, trapping enemies. The two beams then merge, creating a large [[Area of Effect

F
Sky Ruler
Mastery 75

The user mounts on one of the two Buddies, depending on whether the user used Demon Buddy (Ra) or Angel Buddy (Shu) last. The Angel Buddy (Shu) is set by default.

Pros

15
  • High combo potential, all moves can be combined easily.
  • All moves are AoE moves, making it a decent fruit to grind with if the user can manage the knockback.
  • Extremely high damage, easy to pressure enemies while in a PvP, since a small mistake can result in their health being depleted rapidly.
  • Extremely Versatile. With the help of the buddies, the user can use every perk that the game has to offer: stun, healing, movement speed, DoT, AoE, and knockback.
  • Can be used for hybrid builds.
  • The Buddies can not be harmed, but they vanish after a few seconds. The range of their parkside is also not affected by the players' distance from them. For example, if the user has a healing spirit, it will still heal them even if they are far away.
  • The healing/speed spirits allow the user to easily switch their play style from being aggressive to being passive.
  • Good for grinding
  • The Cursed Tree has auto-aim.
  • Stuns enemies for a long time.
  • Has a big hitbox.
  • Useful for combo finishers.
  • Deals more damage when attacking more enemies.
  • Has hit-scan.
  • This move has DoT [burning], temporarily making it disable Instinct for a while in PvP.

Cons

12
  • Extremely high Mastery requirements for all moves, tied with Control and Dragon at 350 mastery. (Not recommended if being lower than Lv. 800)
  • Moves are considered to be relatively slow.
  • The possibility of spawning buddies is random, making it possible for the user to get buddies they do not want (Such as a star instead of a flying pig).
  • Toxic Mushroom is nearly useless in PvP, since no one's going to stay inside the fog, and Cursed Tree can be easily avoided by air camping or staying away. Along with that, dashing and running can avoid Toad extremely easily.
  • Relatively short range, but makes up for it with its huge hitbox.
  • High endlag, makes the user vulnerable to attacks if missed.
  • Unpredicatable knockback makes it unreliable for combo starting.
  • Long range has a short wind up before release, relatively short range when tapped.
  • Can be Instinct tricked.
  • Can be punished if missed. (It is unlikely however, as the AoE would freeze enemies had they been so close).
  • Vulnerable if missed. (Directing the beam’s explosion on the user may help keep enemies away from attacking).
  • Not recommended for use in pursuit of enemies or as a platform for aerial PvP.

Trivia

10
  • 1Rarely, Toad may lose its textures, as shown in the image above.
  • 2Both Ra and Shu attack in combination while using and .
  • 3Cursed Tree is the only buddy whose form was not changed during the rework in .
  • 4Due to the nerf in update 24 to Angel's V3 ability, the healing ability of the stars offers a great alternative for those looking to heal in a pinch. Much like Angel's V3 ability, making it ideal in the heat of battle.
  • 5There was a bug where if the user activated the flying pig's speed and then switched to another permanent fruit, they could keep the speed from the flying pigs. This glitch could be stacked and therefore abused, as continuous repeating of it would lead to tremendous amounts of speed. Some YouTube videos even state that 2 dashes were enough to go across Castle on the Sea. (Patched in )
  • 6has a visual bug that makes it slightly hard to land from afar, but it is easier to use when aiming under the user's avatar.
  • 7has different sound effects for different targets, slowly scaling with larger opponents. The absolute maximum size is against a Sea Beast, when cast on one, its sound effect is almost akin to the shattering of glass.
  • 8For some reason, the Spirit fruit model/image has the Angel and Demon sides switched.
  • 9Shu is very expressive, but it's animation cycle does not start until a few minutes have been spent in the server.
  • 10This is likely to reduce loading.
