The Blox Fruits meta after Update 31 is honestly the most interesting it's been in two years. Cyborg V4, the Control rework, the Dark rework, and balance changes to Buddha, Oni, and Pole V2 all reshuffled things in ways I didn't fully expect. Some fruits I'd written off are back. Some things I expected to stay at the top fell. Let me break down every category — fruits split by use case, swords, fighting styles, and races — and tell you exactly what to chase.
Best Fruits — Split by Use Case
PvP Tier List
| Tier | Fruits |
|---|---|
| S+ | Kitsune, Dragon |
| S | Tiger (Leopard), Dough (Awakened), Gas |
| A | Venom, Soul, Control (post-rework), Shadow, Gravity |
| B | Buddha, Phoenix, Blizzard, T-Rex, String, Dark (post-rework) |
Grinding Tier List
| Tier | Fruits |
|---|---|
| S+ | Buddha (Awakened), Dragon |
| S | Magma, Dough |
| A | Kitsune, Flame, Light, Phoenix |
| B | Gravity, String, Quake, Shadow, Dark Realm DOT |
Boss / Raid Tier List
| Tier | Fruits |
|---|---|
| S+ | Leopard, Dragon |
| S | Dough, Kitsune, Venom, Gravity |
| A | Control, Gas, Quake, Phoenix |
Why Kitsune dominates: It has mobility, AOE on the M1, and a passive that builds rage stacks for explosive burst windows. In practice it's the closest thing to a "do everything" fruit in the current game — and honestly, I've tried to find a real weakness in it for months and haven't found one.
Dragon's case: Unmatched raid clear and oppressive transformations in a fight. The downside is real though — 24,500 fragments for the awakening is brutal, and the mobility in PvP is slower than Kitsune when you need to land the full combo. It pays back inside one solid raid week if you commit.
Best Swords
| Rank | Sword | Best For | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | True Triple Katana | PvP & PvE all-rounder | Quest chain (CDK + Yama + 2x Tushita) |
| 2 | Cursed Dual Katana | PvP combo speed | Sea 3 raid drop |
| 3 | Yama | High single-hit damage | Sword raid + 5,000 fragments |
| 4 | Spikey Trident | Range + AoE | Sea 2 boss drop |
| 5 | Hallow Scythe | DOT + grinding | Sea 2 boss drop (5%) |
True Triple Katana is the one I'd tell literally any player to work toward first. The quest chain is annoying but the result is an all-rounder that doesn't embarrass you in any situation. CDK is faster in PvP combos but the drop RNG on it is rough — TTK is the safer grind target.
Best Fighting Styles
| Tier | Style |
|---|---|
| S | Godhuman (PvP), Sanguine Art (grinding lifesteal), Dragon Talon |
| A | Electric Claw, Sharkman Karate, Death Step, Superhuman |
| B | Water Kung Fu, Dragon Breath |
| F | Combat (default — replace ASAP) |
If you're a newer player, the upgrade path is straightforward: Combat → Black Leg (free) → Dragon Breath → Superhuman → Godhuman. Every step is a clear power jump. Don't skip Superhuman thinking you'll get straight to Godhuman — each style actually teaches you combo timings you'll use later.
Best Races (V4 era)
| Tier | Race | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S+ | Cyborg V4 | Disables enemy Observation + chain DOT |
| S | Angel V4 | Healing aura + flight |
| A | Mink V4 | Mobility + speed |
| B | Shark V4 | Underwater control |
| C | Human V4 | Generalist; weakest V4 |
Cyborg V4 is the biggest meta shift in this tier list. It went from B-tier in 2024 to S+ in 2026 — the Update 26 Awakening overhaul completely changed what it does. Disabling enemy Observation in a game where half your fights are against Observation users is just unfair. If you only awaken one race, make it Cyborg. I spent a long time on Angel V4 and the healing aura is genuinely strong, but once I switched to Cyborg the difference in PvP wins was immediate.
Cheap Loadouts That Punch Above Their Cost
- Sub-1M Beli PvP: Dark (post-rework, around 500K) + True Triple Katana + Godhuman + Cyborg V4. This genuinely beats most loadouts costing 5–10× more. Don't sleep on the Dark rework.
- Pure grinding budget: Buddha (1.2M Beli) + Yama + Sanguine Art. Awakening Buddha makes farming Sea Beasts almost trivially easy.
- Robux PvP flex: Kitsune (gamepass) + CDK + Godhuman + Cyborg V4. Top-tier across every category — this is as close as Blox Fruits has to a "solved" loadout right now.
