Blox Fruits Fruit Tier List: 42 Fruits Ranked by Wiki Kit Data

Quick Summary

42 Blox Fruits fruits ranked S to C by Instinct-breaking moves and M1 from the wiki, with Beli and Robux prices, awakening costs and the best fruit at each budget.

This Blox Fruits fruit tier list ranks 42 fruits with a rule you can check on the Blox Fruits Fandom wiki (blox-fruits.fandom.com): how many of a fruit's five main moves are marked as breaking Instinct, plus whether the fruit has an M1 attack. Price and rarity are listed next to every fruit but do not change the tier. The tiers are our classification built from the wiki's skill boxes. They are not an official ranking, they are not based on win rates, and they do not measure damage, range or how hard a fruit is to land.

Data is taken from the wiki as of Update 30.1 (the Halloween update). Fruit pages whose skill boxes carry no Instinct information, such as Chop, Kilo, Falcon, Barrier, Revive, Door and Soul, are left unscored. Magnet, added in Update 30, is also unscored.

How the score works

Instinct (Observation Haki) lets a player dodge attacks. Each skill box on a fruit's wiki page has a field that says whether the move breaks Instinct. We use that field because it is printed on the page for anyone to check.

  1. 1Break coverage (0 to 5). For each of the keys Z, X, C, V and F, give one point if the move breaks Instinct in at least one of the fruit's listed forms. When a fruit has separate V1 and V2 movesets, we take the better one.
  2. 2M1 (0 or 1). One point if the wiki lists the fruit as having an M1, including fruits where it appears only after transforming or awakening.
  3. 3Score = coverage + M1. Maximum 6.
TierScoreMeaning
S6Every main move breaks Instinct in some form, and it has an M1
A5One point short of a full kit
B4Solid coverage, usually missing M1 or one move
C3 or lessFewer Instinct-breaking moves

This is a kit-coverage score. A fruit can score high and still be weak, and a lower-scoring fruit can be excellent for another reason. Buddha scores 4, for example, yet the wiki's Leveling Guide page calls it one of the best fruits for grinding. Use the list to compare how reliably moves land against Instinct, then check the fruit's wiki page for the rest.

S tier: score 6

KitsuneBeastMythical8,000,0004,000
ControlNaturalMythical9,000,0004,000
DragonBeastMythical15,000,0005,000

Bomb is the outlier. It costs 80,000 Beli and has an M1 and five Instinct-breaking moves, so it reaches S tier on coverage alone. That says something about how its kit is laid out, not about its damage. Of the seven Mythicals in this tier, Dragon is the most expensive at 15,000,000 Beli.

A tier: score 5

LeopardBeastMythical5,000,0003,000

The best value in the whole list sits here. Ice costs 350,000 Beli and scores 5; its Update 29.6 buff made its X move break Instinct, according to the wiki's changelog. Magma scores 5 for 960,000 Beli, though the wiki lists it without an M1. Dough and Phoenix can be awakened for 18,500 Fragments each.

B tier: score 4

Venom was marked In-Progress in the Update 30.1 notes, so its listing may change. Quake awakens for 17,000 Fragments, while Flame, Sand and Light awaken for 14,500.

C tier: score 3 or less

ShadowNaturalMythical2,900,0002,4253

C tier is where the score says the least. Dark is here because its V1 moveset breaks Instinct on two keys and its V2 moveset on three, and it has no M1. The wiki's Update 29.6 notes record buffs to its X move, which now breaks Instinct, so Dark has improved since earlier versions. A separate guide covers it in detail.

Reading the list by budget

Budget (Beli)Highest score availableFruit
Up to 100,0006Bomb (80,000)
Up to 1,000,0005Ice (350,000), Eagle (550,000), Magma (960,000)
Up to 3,000,0006Gravity (2,500,000), T-Rex (2,700,000)
Up to 10,000,0006Tiger, Yeti, Kitsune, Control
Any6Dragon (15,000,000)

If you only need to get through the early seas, the wiki's Elemental page says Elemental fruits are especially effective for grinding in the First Sea and stay strong in the Second Sea thanks to their immunity, and its Leveling Guide names Buddha as one of the best grinding fruits. In the Third Sea the immunity advantage shrinks, because most enemies have Aura.

Common mistakes

  • Reading the tier as a power ranking. The score counts Instinct-breaking moves and M1. It ignores damage, cooldown, range and skill requirements.
  • Paying for rarity. The wiki lists Ice and Eagle, both Uncommon, with the same score as several Mythicals.
  • Using old lists. Several fruits changed in Updates 29.6 and 30. Check the date and the update number of any list.
  • Ignoring awakening cost. Elemental fruits listed here awaken for 14,500 Fragments, while Phoenix and Dough cost 18,500.
  • Buying a fruit by its name. Several wiki fruit pages carry no Instinct data and are unscored here. Read the fruit's page before spending.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Blox Fruit?

By this score, eight fruits tie at 6, from Bomb at 80,000 Beli to Dragon at 15,000,000 Beli. The score does not measure damage, so it does not name a single best fruit.

What is the best cheap Blox Fruit?

Ice at 350,000 Beli scores 5, and Bomb at 80,000 Beli scores 6. Both are on the list's first two tiers.

Is Dragon better than Kitsune?

On this score they are equal at 6. Dragon costs 15,000,000 Beli or 5,000 Robux and Kitsune 8,000,000 Beli or 4,000 Robux.

Where did Rumble go?

The wiki now lists it under the name Lightning, at 2,100,000 Beli or 2,100 Robux.

How is this tier list different from others?

Every number comes from a field on the wiki page, so you can verify any entry yourself. The trade-off is that it measures only what the wiki records.
