Weaveling

Weaveling is a new creature of The Candy Vault, the Halloween event that went live on October 22, 2026 and runs until November 9. The wiki describes it as a spider-like entity made of scrap, and that is almost everything it says: the page is marked as a stub and the trivia is still blank.

What the wiki lists about its behavior

A Weaveling carries a scrappable item on its back. If you try to take that item by holding the interact button, the Weaveling runs away from you. So the scrap is not free: you have to catch the creature that carries it. Nothing is listed about damage or about it attacking anyone.

Where it fits in the event

The Candy Vault has two parts. In The Estate you search a mansion for candy, keys and food, then open the vault. In the second part you descend 50 doors of underground passages in up to 20 minutes, in a layout close to the old Stairwell. Glitch opens each run with riddles that hint at the entities in play, and several of them speak of scurrying things and "the scrap you wanted" growing many feet, which matches Weavelings.
