Glitch guide
Glitch is the safety net of DOORS. It appears on every floor, subfloor and Vision, and its job is to fix problems: if you fall off the map, or the anti-cheat finds you somewhere you should not be, such as outside the map or inside an unopened room, Glitch teleports you back to the last opened room. It looks like a black humanoid similar to Seek, with purple cubes sticking out of its body and a pixelated aura that glows pink-purple. It was added on August 22, 2022, and it is 5 m tall.
Teleports in subfloors and Visions
In subfloors and Visions Glitch also works like Void. If you are in a room that is about to despawn because it is too far behind, it teleports you forward; the threshold is 20 rooms in The Archives and 4 rooms in The Backdoor and The Outdoors. It does no damage, except in the HOTEL- Vision, where it deals 20 to 40. In HOTEL- it replaces Void.
Speaking and the Fragment
When you die in a Vision, Glitch gives the death messages instead of Guiding Light and Curious Light, opening with lines like HELLO WORLD and ending with a cryptic phrase. In the Cringle's Workshop Vision it points out where the gifts go. Interacting with a Glitch Fragment also summons it; surviving the encounter that follows gives the Trial and Error achievement and 402 Gold.
