Its tell is unmistakable: a Gnome crop emits particles shaped like the Sam Gnome's image, a nod to the game's running gnome joke rather than a weather or temperature theme. It sits in the Standard rarity tier, so it is not a freak roll, but it is also not something you will see on every plant.

In raw numbers x15 is middling — it will not carry a harvest by itself the way a triple-digit mutation does — but it earns its keep by stacking cleanly with growth and color mutations. Pair it with a Golden or Rainbow base and a strong environmental bonus and that x15 becomes a useful extra layer rather than a throwaway.

Is it worth chasing? Not specifically. Gnome is better treated as a pleasant bonus when it lands on an already-valuable crop than as a target to farm for. If it appears on a high-tier fruit, fold it into a stacked sale; on a low-value crop, it rarely justifies holding inventory space.
