Shocked is one of the strongest individual mutations in the game, and layered onto Rainbow's prismatic base it pushes the crop into elite payout territory with only two stacks involved.

The trigger is pure weather luck. Shocked is applied by Thunderstorm events, when lightning strikes plants in your garden and electrifies whatever it hits. Rainbow, meanwhile, rolls randomly during growth and can't be forced at all. That makes this combo opportunistic: you can't summon a Thunderstorm on demand, so the realistic path is keeping valuable Rainbow crops in the ground whenever storm weather is active and hoping a bolt finds them.

Is it worth it? Strongly yes for any high-tier seed. At 5,000× a single strike transforms an ordinary harvest into a jackpot, and because it only needs two mutations it's far more achievable than the deep stacks. Leave your best plants out during storms — this is one of the best value-per-effort combos in the game.
