About Garden Ascension

A Garden Ascension costs 1T and each ascension adds 2T to the total cost. Ascensions can be performed once every 4 hours. Ascending grants 10 , and takes away 1T sheckles from the player, unlike before where it took all of the player’s sheckles.

Garden Ascension — In-Depth Analysis

Garden Ascension is not a crop you plant but an end-game sheckle sink, and that reframes the entire economics: instead of asking what a seed returns, you ask whether spending your accumulated wealth on a reset-style upgrade pays off over the long run. The system charges a fee per ascension and each ascension adds to the total cost, so the curve climbs steeply and your first few are by far the most cost-efficient.

The key mechanical detail is the timing gate: ascensions can only be performed once every four hours. That cooldown means progress is paced regardless of how rich you are, so the smart play is to always have enough banked to ascend the moment the timer is up, never letting that window go to waste. Stockpiling sheckles between cooldowns is the optimisation, not impulse spending.

Importantly, modern ascension only removes 1T sheckles rather than draining your entire balance as it once did, which makes it dramatically friendlier to plan around. This is purely a late-game activity: focus first on high-yield mutated harvests to build a reliable income engine, then funnel surplus sheckles into a steady ascension cadence for compounding long-term garden power.
