Wild Berry

The Wild Berry is an unreleased Uncommon crop, which tells you two important things before you spend a single Sheckle: you can't actually plant it yet, and even when it arrives it will sit near the bottom of the value ladder. Uncommon is the second-cheapest tier in Grow a Garden, so this is positioned as an early-game crop, not a profit engine.

That low rarity isn't automatically bad, though. The classic Uncommon economic role is fast, cheap throughput: berries of this class typically pair a small seed cost with quick growth and multi-harvest behavior, so the win comes from volume and turnover rather than any single fat payout. Plant a row of them when you're still building your first Sheckle cushion, harvest often, and reinvest.

For mutations, an Uncommon base means raw multipliers add little in absolute terms, so don't waste premium weather on it, save Rainbow and Gold rolls for heavier crops. The honest verdict: when it releases, the Wild Berry is a starter filler that helps newer players keep cash flowing, then gets retired the moment you can afford rarer, weightier seeds.
