About Honey Merchant
The Honey Merchant sells some of the items originally sold by the Queen Bee (NPC) in the Bizzy Bee Event . The Honey Merchant was one of the five travelling merchants currently not in cycle, which spawns to the left of the Seed Shop . It has a chance to spawn every 4 hours before night events occur. The NPC operating the shop is named Onett . As an improvement to Onett's old Honey Combpressor, players can give pollinated crops to trade for Honey at a rate of 1 per kilogram. Players may choose to take all pollinated crops to convert them all into Honey . As of May 9, 2026, the Honey Merchant has been unavailable to the public. (Removed)
Honey Merchant — In-Depth Analysis
The Honey Merchant is not a crop at all but a travelling merchant NPC, operated by Onett, that sold items once stocked by the Queen Bee during the Bizzy Bee Event. Understanding it is about understanding a conversion economy rather than seed-to-sell profit: its whole purpose was to turn pollinated crops into honey-event rewards.
The standout mechanic was the upgrade over Onett's old Honey Combpressor — players could hand over pollinated crops and trade them by weight (per kilogram), choosing to convert all pollinated produce at once. That makes the Honey Merchant the natural sink for any farm built around the Pollinated mutation: the heavier and more pollinated your harvests, the more value you extracted per visit, which is why bee-event crops and pollination pets paid off specifically when this NPC was in cycle.
Two timing facts matter. It was one of five travelling merchants out of cycle, spawning left of the Seed Shop with a chance every four hours before night events. More importantly, as of May 9, 2026 it has been removed and is unavailable — so today it is historical context. If you are weighing pollination strategy now, plan around the current honey sinks rather than this retired merchant.
