Seed Stages Event

The Seed Stages Event was a short-lived but mechanically important event from Update 1.25.0, running only from September 27th to October 4th. Its lasting legacy is the system it introduced rather than the week it occupied: Seed Evolving, which lets certain seeds advance through multiple tiers instead of being a single fixed crop.

Economically, evolving seeds change how you think about return on investment. A normal seed pays out a flat harvest, but an evolving seed is a staged asset, each tier you push it through raises its eventual ceiling, so the real cost is the time and attention you sink into advancing it rather than just the upfront purchase. That rewards committed players who can babysit a plot over players who plant and forget. Because the event was time-boxed to one week, the evolving seeds it seeded are effectively limited stock, and anything tied to it carries scarcity value going forward.

Treat this event as a milestone in the game's design history. If you hold seeds capable of evolving, prioritize pushing them up the stages while the supporting mechanics are live, since a fully evolved crop almost always outperforms its base tier on yield and resale.
