Summer Harvest Event

The Summer Harvest Event arrived with Update 1.11.0 and is best understood as an economy reset rather than a single crop. It completely overhauled the Seed Shop with summer-themed plants, so the smart play during it was to abandon your usual rotation and pivot hard into whatever the temporary shop offered, since those seeds were only available for the event window.

The core loop was its real value: submit summer crops every hour to earn Harvest Points, which then cashed out into past event items including seeds, gear and eggs. That structure rewards consistent, scheduled harvesting over raw sell-price farming. Economically, the best return came from planting fast-cycling summer crops that you could turn in each hour rather than slow high-value trees, because the Harvest Point conversion mattered more than the Sheckle sale.
