About lightning
Weathers are one of the main features of the game and can help the crop's growth speed go faster and increase their values by having their crops mutated. Every active server experiences the same weather at the same time (Unless people vote for different weathers during Admin Abuses, meaning it's not always the same). Some weathers may also give out exclusive seeds like the Snaparino Beanarini Seed or the Frostspike Seed, and even pets like the Woody and the Chicken Zombie. Five different types of weather can be spawned in the game which are: * Standard Weathers, which are weathers that can be spawned naturally without an admin. * Event Weathers, which are weathers that are only available and limited during specific Events. * Admin Weathers, which are weathers that are only spawned by an admin, normally spawned during Admin Abuses. * Unreleased Weathers, which are weathers that have not been released to the public yet.

lightning — In-Depth Analysis
The Lightning entry is really a Weather mechanic, not a shop-bought gear, so there is no Sheckle cost and no "is it worth buying" question — it is a free, server-wide event that affects everyone at once. Weather is one of the game's core systems: it can speed up crop growth and raise crop value by triggering mutations, which is exactly the kind of free upside an active farm wants to be ready for.
Because every active server experiences the same weather simultaneously (barring Admin Abuse votes), you cannot summon it on demand — your job is to react. The smart play is timing: have valuable, mutation-friendly crops planted before weather rolls in so you actually capture the boost rather than wasting it on empty plots.
Some weather types even hand out exclusive seeds and pets — the description names the Snaparino Beanarini Seed, the Frostspike Seed, and pets like Woody and the Chicken Zombie. Across the five categories (Standard, Event, Admin, and Unreleased weathers), the takeaway for progression is simple: weather costs nothing, so the only "investment" is keeping your plot stocked and watching for the conditions that mutate your highest-value crops.
