About Crafting
Crafting is a permanent feature first introduced in the third week of the Bizzy Bee Event, allowing players to craft various seeds, gears and eggs using different items. It is unknown if it's deliberate, but currently crafting takes ~1.07 sec for 1 second to tick on the timer. Practically making crafting take ~7% longer than it should.

Crafting — In-Depth Analysis
Crafting is logged here as Event Weather, and its effect is brutally simple and powerful: 5x crafting speed. It first appeared in the third week of the Bizzy Bee Event, but unlike a temporary buff it became a permanent system, letting players craft seeds, gears, and eggs from gathered materials.
There is one quirk worth knowing. By the wiki's own measurement the crafting timer is slightly miscalibrated, taking roughly 1.07 real seconds per timer second, so jobs run about 7% longer than displayed. That overhead is normally annoying, which is exactly why the 5x speed window matters so much.
To capitalize, queue your slowest, most expensive recipes specifically during the 5x Crafting weather rather than crafting them at base speed. A high-tier egg or gear that would otherwise tie up your station for ages clears in a fraction of the time, and the ~7% timer tax becomes negligible against a five-fold speedup. Stockpile crafting materials in advance so that the moment the speed boost lands you can fire off a full queue of premium items, then sell or hatch the output while the rest of the server is still grinding single crafts.
