Safari Joe is the marquee NPC of the Safari Harvest Event, and his weather banner reads clearly: "Safari Joe Arrives! 2x points from submitting!" When he appears you can hand him pets in exchange for a random reward, and crucially every submission pays out at double event points. That doubling is the entire reason to drop what you are doing the second this Event Weather triggers.

The angle to exploit is timing your submissions. Hoard the pets you intend to turn in and only submit them while Safari Joe is active, because submitting during normal periods earns half the points for the same pets. Since the reward itself is randomized, the consistent, controllable gain is the point multiplier feeding your Season Pass and event-shop progress.

To capitalize, keep a reserve of low-value pets ready before the storm window, then dump them all during the 2x burst to rocket through point thresholds. This converts Safari Joe from a passing spectacle into the fastest event-currency engine the Safari Harvest offers, accelerating every limited unlock downstream.
