Gear Shop

The Gear Shop event is a spectacle with teeth: it spawns lightning strikes at a relentless 4 strikes per second while a gigantic Jandel entity looms behind Eloise's shop. The lightning is the real prize, because strikes are the trigger for the Shocked mutation, and few events deliver them this fast — four hits every second across the garden is a saturation-level rate that ordinary thunderstorms cannot match.

That density turns positioning into profit. Pack your most valuable, highest-rarity crops tightly together while the event runs so the dense strike pattern blankets as many plants as possible, and chase Shocked stacking on top of existing mutations rather than spreading plants out. Because the shop itself sits on the opposite side from the Seed Shop and Sell Stand, you can farm strikes here without disrupting your buying or selling loop.

Separately, remember the Gear Shop's normal role: it refreshes stock every 5 minutes and always guarantees Watering Can, Trowel, Recall Wrench, Trading Ticket, Favorite Tool and Harvest Tool, so check the rotation each reset while you wait out the lightning.
