This Event Weather is the centerpiece of the Christmas Harvest Event, which ran from December 6 to December 27, 2025. Rather than blanketing your garden directly, it spawns dead trees around the map; walking up to one lets you chop it down, and each felled tree grants three snow-related mutations applied to crops in your garden.

The mechanic rewards active map exploration over passive waiting. Because the trees appear at scattered locations, the optimal route is to patrol the map perimeter the instant the weather triggers, chopping every dead tree before other players claim them. Each chop is a guaranteed mutation source, so the player who clears the most trees stacks the most frosty value onto their harvest.

To capitalize, line up your most valuable, near-mature crops before the event so the snow mutations land on high-base-price fruit rather than cheap filler. Frost-tier mutations multiply sell value substantially, and since this weather was tied to a limited seasonal window, any mutated crops you locked in during the event are now scarce trophies. During future winter events, treat dead-tree spawns as a timed scavenger hunt for free mutation multipliers.
