Layout and features
- Rooms include a lobby, waiting room, bank teller room, vault, several offices, a meeting room and air vents.
- A metal detector links the teller room with the vault: carrying a hidden weapon through it triggers a loud beep and red flashing lights that nearby players can notice; only the Murderer, Sheriff or Hero set it off.
- The vault's doors can only be opened from inside the vault.
- Cramped, confusing layout with little open space, and some hallway doors that open slowly (up to about 3 seconds) for laggy or slow devices.
Hiding spots in Bank 2
- Gaps between the cubicles and the wall
- Behind the door in the room by the hallways near the stairs
- The locked room near the stairs (entered through the wardrobe in the neighbouring room)
- Closets in the waiting room
- Closet in the meeting room
- Bushes in the meeting room
- Behind the vault door and up its climbable part (when the vault is open)
Tips by role
As the Murderer
- Travel and stab through the vents to stay out of sight, but bail out immediately if the gun holder is in there too.
- Ninja and Haste are recommended for quick surprise stabs.
- Fake Gun at the start of the round can bluff people, which pairs well with the metal detector; beware the real Sheriff.
Bank 2 guide
Bank 2 went live on October 17th, 2018, replacing the older Bank map, and like the original it was made by Thexz. Its best-known quirk is a metal detector between the bank teller room and the vault: anyone carrying a concealed weapon through it sets off a loud beep and flashing red lights that nearby players can see. Only the Murderer, the Sheriff or the Hero trigger it, so it works as a way to expose who holds a weapon.
A confusing building
The rooms are a lobby, waiting room, teller room, vault, a couple of offices, a meeting room and air vents. Little open space, a confusing layout and hallway doors that can take up to about 3 seconds to swing open on slow devices make it hard to escape a chasing Murderer. The vault doors can only be opened from inside it, and you open them by walking into the wall button rather than clicking.
Small changes and open questions
The deposit boxes in the vault were once a hiding spot and were later removed for an unknown reason.
The trivia claims this is the only map where roles can be read without seeing a weapon, then admits Research Facility has a similar machine. The Airport page lists both maps as having one.
Trivia about Bank 2
- Replaced the older Bank map (also by Thexz).
- The deposit boxes inside the vault used to be a hiding spot and were later removed for an unknown reason.
- Unlike the original Bank, it has no restrooms.
- To open the vault you walk into the wall button rather than clicking it; pushing the door after pressing makes it open faster.

Where the wiki disagrees
These pages of the MM2 Wiki give different answers. Both are shown instead of picking one.
- Bank 2 trivia says this is the only map where you can tell the Murderer or Sheriff without seeing their weapon, then notes Research Facility has a similar machine; the Airport page lists both Research Facility and Bank 2 as current maps with a role-detecting object.
- Bank 2 trivia says the Research Facility machine reports 'innocent' for both innocents and the Sheriff; the Research Facility page says its machine shows blue for the Sheriff.
