Celestial

Celestial was the final tier of the Christmas Event 2024 battle pass, priced at 98,000 Snow Tokens for the 20th tier. The event is over, so the knife now changes hands only by trading. The wiki credits the design to IDontHaveAUse.

Not an axe, not a scythe

Every ancient knife before it resembled an axe, a scythe or a hammer. Celestial is a chakram: a dark blue crescent-moon ring scattered with small gold stars and one large star in the middle, which is where the name comes from. The handle is wrapped in dark blue fabric with golden edges and two stars on each end. The wiki confirms the shape by pointing to the texture, which is named "chakramdev".

The set and the leaderboard

It partners with the gun Constellation as the Celestial Set, and with an effect of the same name. The 2024 Christmas leaderboard gave red, bronze, silver and gold reskins of this knife to the top 100 players.

The counting mismatch

The Celestial page calls it the tenth ancient weapon obtained by buying the final tier of an event, yet the sentence that follows names ten other ancients. Read literally, that makes Celestial the eleventh. The wiki does not resolve this, so the safe reading is that it belongs to a long list of final-tier ancients that began with Elderwood Scythe.
