What to know about Chroma Fang
- Chroma counterpart of Fang, from the same Knife Box 2.
- Released with the Season 1 update.
- Its model derives from the limited Roblox gear Fang Of Anansi, recolored without the flame effect.
- Not salvageable in the crafting station.
- Lost value after duping.
Chroma Fang guide
Chroma Fang gets its name from the shape of its blades, not from a fang item: a split blade is attached to a large black spider guard, and the tips of the blades are slightly wider than the rest, so they look like the spider's fangs. The handle below the spider is black with a paracord design and a pointed flame pommel. The whole knife, from blade to handle, alternates in color.
Source and model
It is unboxed from Knife Box 2 in the shop, at 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds or 1 Mystery Key per box, with a listed chance of 0.004%, and it can also be traded for. It was released with the Season 1 update. Its model derives from the limited Roblox gear Fang Of Anansi, with two edits: the orange color became a color-alternating texture, and the flame effect was removed.
Throw animation and duping
The wiki says Chroma Fang and Fang share a similar throw animation with Deathshard, Chroma Deathshard and Winter's Edge. Like many other chromas, it lost a lot of value after being duplicated in The Duping Glitch (2021). It also cannot be salvaged in the crafting station, as with every chroma weapon.
