What to know about Sunset
- Forms the Sun Set with the godly gun Sunrise.
- Has a chroma counterpart, Chroma Sunset.
- Third godly obtainable in a battle pass, after Bat and Makeshift from Halloween 2022.
- Second weapon with the FX tag claimable in a battle pass, after Gingerscope.
Sunset guide
Sunset ranks third among godlies that could be claimed in a battle pass, after the knife Bat and the gun Makeshift from the Halloween Event 2022. It is also the second weapon with the FX tag that came out of a pass, after Gingerscope. Both facts come from the wiki's trivia for the weapon.
The route was the final slot of the Summer Event 2025 pass. Tiers 2 to 25 cost 800 Beach Balls each, and once tier 25 was unlocked the knife could be bought for 90,000 Beach Balls. The event ran from July 18 to October 18, 2025, and the knife is now a trading item.
Not the other Sunset
The wiki warns that this page should not be confused with Sunset (2026), a rare gun from the Summer Event 2026. The 2025 weapon is the knife.
Appearance
An indigo-to-yellow fade runs along the blade, like the sky at dusk. The guard is a neon-yellow sun that glows, and purple clouds sit along the blade, most of them gathered around the guard. Its gun partner Sunrise shares the Sun Set with it, and Chroma Sunset is its chroma counterpart. The infobox has no rarity field of its own, so the wiki's data holds "Godly" under type; the knife kind comes from the lead sentence. Tier is 4.

Where the wiki disagrees
These pages of the MM2 Wiki give different answers. Both are shown instead of picking one.
- Sunset infobox has no separate rarity field (the type field holds 'Godly'); the weapon kind comes from the lead (godly knife).
