Demon King

Demon King is a summoned encounter rooted at Academy Island in the First Sea, called forth using a Calamity Seal. At 350 million base HP it towers far above most First Sea bosses, demanding a coordinated group rather than a solo attempt — the sheer health pool means under-leveled players will watch the timer run out long before the boss falls.

The drop table is relatively compact but deliberate. Demonite Fragments at 23% are the backbone of any crafting route tied to this boss, and Demonic Shards at 9% supplement them. These two crafting materials alone justify regular runs for players progressing through Academy Island's content curve. The rarer rewards sharpen the motivation for long-term farming: Destruction Eye drops at 2%, the Demon King Outfit Accessory at 1.5%, and both the Imperial Mark and the Demon King Title share the 1% tier — a cosmetic trophy that doubles as proof of repeated commitment.

Because the Calamity Seal is the gate, efficient teams pre-stock seals before a session rather than burning time acquiring them mid-run. Bring fighters with burst damage to shorten the window during which add-spawns or server lag can derail progress. The 350M HP punishes passive play — constant, coordinated pressure is the only reliable path to consistent drops.
