Frost Empress

Frost Empress the boss is the final step of the Frost Empress sword quest line and one of the new encounters added by the King Update in June 2026. The official patch notes list a Frost Empress island, the Frost Empress boss, the Frost Empress sword, its fifth move, a Soul Fragment system and Bankai Essence obtainment, all in the same block, which tells you how tightly the fight is tied to the sword. On the Fandom wiki, the quest line from the Soul Reaper Trainer NPC on Frost Island asks you to defeat 50 Sea 2 Quincies, collect 20 Soul Fragments and then defeat the boss, so most of the work happens before you ever fight her. Soul Fragments are also needed in larger numbers later for the sword's F move mastery, together with Bankai Essence and an Ice Core. We have no verified HP, spawn timer or drop table for the boss, because the wiki has not published them, and we have not fought her ourselves, so we do not guess at strategy. What you can do is prepare the sword route: roll or buy the Kuchiki clan if you want the F move later, farm Soul Fragments while clearing Quincies, and read the in-game quest text for the current numbers.
