Phantom gives its brainrot a 12x income multiplier, making it the highest mutation multiplier in the game as of this writing. Beyond the raw number, Phantom completely transforms the visual appearance of your brainrot: it becomes transparent black, constantly flashing in and out of visibility. Certain parts — the eyes, teeth, and other accents — flash white rapidly, while the brainrot's VFX color shifts to black instead of its original hue. The result is a distinctly ghostly, phantasmal look that makes Phantom one of the most visually striking mutations in the entire roster.

The 1x advantage over Cyber is meaningful in practice. On a brainrot already earning tens of millions per second, that gap compounds quickly across an active play session. Whether you are hunting the conveyor during event windows or evaluating your trade options, Phantom is the mutation to target right now.

Each limited-event mutation since Radioactive raised the ceiling by 0.5–1x per step. Phantom breaks that pattern with a full 1x leap over Cyber — the largest single-step multiplier increase since the mutation system launched. How to Get the Phantom Mutation

Phantom is a limited-time mutation tied exclusively to the Phantom Event, launched with Update 53 on June 13, 2026. The event reworks the game map with a phantasmal aesthetic: buildings sit upside-down on floating islands, phantom pillars emerge across the terrain, and a giant floating pillar appears behind both the Cave entrance and exit. The visual overhaul makes the active event immediately obvious the moment you load in.

There are two acquisition paths:

Passive conveyor spawning. Brainrots appearing on the Red Carpet conveyor during the Phantom Event have a mild chance to spawn already carrying the Phantom Mutation. The event triggers every hour on weekends and every two hours on weekdays, giving you regular windows to watch for Phantom-mutated brainrots. No community-confirmed spawn rate percentage exists at time of writing, so treat each drop as a low-to-moderate probability roll. Stay near the conveyor during active windows and act immediately — other players are scanning for the same ghostly visual.

Phantom Wheel. A dedicated limited-time reward wheel was added on launch day. Its published rates are: Pinch of Cash (55.75%), Wallet of Cash (34%), Truckload of Cash (7.5%), 2× Luck (2%), Secret Lucky Block (0.5%) and the Slap gear (0.25%). The wheel complements the event — the mutation itself still comes from Phantom-mutated brainrots spawning during event windows, so treat the wheel as a bonus for luck boosts and the rare Secret Lucky Block rather than your main path to Phantom.

The mutation was leaked by content creator Sammy on his Discord two days early (June 11, 2026), so the community had some advance notice. The event is currently expected to run until approximately August 8, 2026, with the Summer Hour event slated to follow — treat this as a time-limited opportunity and prioritize it while it is active.

How to Unlock the Phantom Base

Update 53 did not just add the mutation — it also added the Phantom Base, a limited base skin that gives your entire base the event's translucent-black, phantasmal look. It works exactly like the previous mutation bases (Cyber, Divine, Cursed):

• Requirement: register 60% of the brainrots added to the game from June 13, 2026 in your Index with the Phantom mutation.
• Completing that slice of the Phantom Index awards the base skin automatically — no purchase, wheel spin or trade involved.
• Only brainrots added from June 13, 2026 count toward the 60%, so applying Phantom to older brainrots will not move the counter.
• The Phantom Base has been obtainable since June 13, 2026 and remains available while the event runs.

The requirement bar has been dropping with each mutation base: Candy, Lava and Galaxy demanded 100% of their index, Yin-Yang and Radioactive 75%, and every base since Cursed asks for 60%. If you are already farming Phantom spawns during event windows, open the Index screen regularly to track how close you are to the skin.

How Phantom Stacks With Traits

A brainrot can hold only one mutation at a time but can carry multiple traits simultaneously. The two systems combine additively:

Final income = Base income × (mutation multiplier + (Trait 1 − 1) + (Trait 2 − 1) + ...)

Example: a brainrot with Phantom (12x) and a trait that provides 2x has an effective multiplier of 12 + (2 − 1) = 13x on its base income. The higher your mutation's multiplier, the more each trait point is worth in absolute income. Stacking the same traits onto a Phantom brainrot versus a Cyber brainrot yields measurably more income per second simply because the 12x base is larger than 11x.

Mutations affect only income and visual appearance — they grant no combat or utility abilities and do not change any other stat. If you have a Cyber brainrot with strong traits already loaded, swapping to Phantom during this event is a direct income upgrade with no trade-off.

Best Brainrots to Apply Phantom To

Phantom's 12x multiplier scales off base income per second, so the highest-base brainrots produce the largest absolute gains. Based on current brainrot data, these are the top targets:

• La Food Combinasion (Secret, ~$90M/s base) — Top income in the game; a Phantom here compounds into enormous numbers.
• Duggy Bros (Secret, ~$90M/s base) — Equal to La Food Combinasion; either is an ideal Phantom host.
• Sammyni Cakini (Secret, ~$85M/s base) — Slightly below the top two but still excellent.
• Elefanto Frigo (Secret, ~$85M/s base) — Strong income and a confirmed trade value of 650, reflecting real player demand.
• Sushi Inu (Secret, ~$8M/s base) — More reachable than the top tier while remaining a strong Phantom candidate.
• Easter Bunny (Legendary, ~$5.2M/s base) — For players without secret-rarity brainrots, this is the clearest first choice.

3. 3Stack traits immediately after. Once secured, load your Phantom brainrot with the strongest traits available. Each trait point adds more income on a 12x base than on any lower mutation.
