Chef's Station — In-Depth Analysis
The Chef's Station is a blueprint tied to the Chef class in 99 Nights in the Forest. It works like the Crock Pot, with one restriction: only Chefs can use it. In return it can cook special Chef dishes that the ordinary pot cannot make.
There are six recipes in the Recipe Book: Seafood Chowder, Steak Dinner, Pumpkin Soup, BBQ Ribs, Carrot Cake and Jar O' Jelly. The first four are available as soon as you buy the Chef. Carrot Cake unlocks at Chef Level 2 and Jar O' Jelly at Level 3. A locked recipe still shows in the book under a transparent gray box, but the station will not cook it and produces a Stew instead.
Most recipes follow the same pattern. One main component, listed first in the book, defines the dish, and two other pieces of food, which can be random, start the cooking. Carrot Cake is the exception: it needs a slice of cake and 2 carrots. Every dish made here sparkles once it is done, and so does the Stew.
If you place three foods that are not the main component of any recipe, for example 3 Morsels, you simply get a normal Stew. When a Steak is mixed with one or two other main ingredients, the Steak takes priority and you get a Steak Dinner.
