Core is the mechanical heart-boss found deep in the Factory zone of the Third Sea, gated at level 2,000+. This construct has an enormous 2,800,000 HP spread across three distinct shield phases — the outer shell, the inner casing, and the exposed Core itself — meaning effective HP feels closer to 5,000,000 given the sequential damage gates. Drop highlights: Core Fragment crafting material (100% chance, 2–4 per kill), Steel Heart accessory (~4%), and Gear Oil (~15%). Respawn timer is 45 minutes.

Each shield phase requires destroying the outer layer before the next becomes vulnerable. Use AOE-heavy fruits to chip shields simultaneously — Dough Awakened's whirlwind moves hit all phases at once when positioned correctly in the center. Leopard and Kitsune also work well for their multi-hit damage patterns. Avoid single-target sword builds here; the shield structure makes them too slow without a specific party synergy. At Phase 3, the exposed Core takes 1.5× damage — dump all cooldowns the moment the inner casing breaks.

Core is the go-to source for Core Fragments, required for some of the best gear in the Third Sea. At 100% drop rate with 2–4 per kill, farming him is mandatory for crafters. The Steel Heart accessory is also a top-tier PvP stat stick, making each kill doubly rewarding. The 45-minute respawn is the biggest drawback — server-hop between Factory zones on different servers, or coordinate with a guild to maintain consistent access. Pure Beli/Fragment yield is average, so only farm him when you need the crafting materials.
