Quick Summary

Update 30 "Sea 1 Rework" (September 5, 2026): the Magnet fruit, Advanced Combat, 40 Island Secrets, level cap 3000, Awakened Bosses and the revamped First Sea, summarized from the wiki.

Update 30, called "Sea 1 Rework", is the latest numbered update listed on the Blox Fruits wiki. It went live on September 5, 2026 and it is one of the biggest changes to the First Sea since the game launched: redesigned islands, a new Mythical fruit, a new fighting style, a level cap raised to 3000 and a whole layer of hidden quests called Island Secrets. This guide collects what the wiki documents about the update in one place, so you can see what changed and what to do first. Everything here is taken from the community wiki pages for the update, the Magnet fruit, Advanced Combat, Island Secrets and the First Sea bosses. None of it comes from our own in-game testing, and details can change as the developers patch the game.

Update 30 at a glance

  • Name and date: "Sea 1 Rework", released on 2026-09-05 (the wiki describes it as a First Sea revamp plus Island Secrets).
  • New Blox Fruit: Magnet.
  • New fighting style: Advanced Combat.
  • New mechanic: Secret Levels, earned through 40 Island Secrets hidden in the First Sea.
  • Level cap: 2800 to 3000. The wiki lists 2800 from grinding and up to 200 from Island Secrets.
  • New event: the Magnet Event, which the wiki marks as ended.
  • Seventeen First Sea locations were revamped, several bosses were reworked or removed, and the HUD, stats menu and NPC dialogue were redesigned.

The level cap and Secret Levels

The headline mechanic is the level cap. Before the update the cap was 2800. After it, the wiki lists 3000, split into 2800 levels from normal grinding and 200 levels that come only from Island Secrets.

Island Secrets are secret quests inside the First Sea. The wiki counts 40 of them in total, and each one raises your level cap and your stat cap by five. That is where the arithmetic comes from: 40 secrets multiplied by 5 levels is 200 Secret Levels, and 2800 plus 200 is 3000. Secret Levels behave like normal levels, so the extra stat points can be spent on your attributes up to the new cap.

A few details the wiki records about how they work:

  • Completing all three Secret Quests on an island (Middle Town excluded) unlocks that island as a teleport destination. The teleporter is inside the central building of Middle Town, and the island gets a yellow glow on the map. A September 7 patch changed the Middle Town teleporter so that it unlocks only after you complete all secret quests on any island.
  • Quest NPCs now have a special "Rumor" dialogue option that gives hints about the Island Secrets you still have to complete.
  • If you have unclaimed Secret Levels, a message reading "Secret Levels Available!" appears over your EXP bar.
  • Unlocking Secret Levels early still raises your personal cap, so bonus levels are not wasted. The wiki's example is that completing one secret at level 100 raises your cap by five.
  • Some secrets only let one player complete them per spawn, and a bug sometimes made a Quest NPC give only part of the levels at first. The September 5 and September 7 patch notes describe fixes so that secret quests award five levels.
  • Secret Quests have no required order, and the wiki notes that Private Servers are not recommended for the time-based events because you cannot choose which island an event spawns on.

The wiki also records that on September 10 the level cap was raised from 2995 to 3000 and that players at level 2995 see the text "Secret Levels Available!". Treat the exact numbers as a snapshot of the wiki at the time of writing.

Awakened Bosses and the Secrets Master

Update 30 added a First Sea exclusive hourly event called Awakened Bosses. According to the wiki, an Awakened Boss spawns once at the start of every hour, provided at least one player was near the boss. A player cannot damage the boss until they finish that boss's own minigame, and after the boss awakens any number of players can join the fight. Everyone who deals enough damage gets a free gacha roll when it dies.

The Secrets Master, a miscellaneous NPC on the first-floor balcony of the central building in Middle Town, tells you which boss will awaken next. He only reveals it during the last 30 minutes of each hour, and the "Which boss stirs next?" dialogue needs three stars on any First Sea island. The wiki lists these minigames:

  • Gorilla King: shake the tree to drop bananas.
  • Chef: place materials into the cauldron in the building behind him.
  • Yeti: destroy three green frozen cubes around the island while Aura is enabled.
  • Vice Admiral: man the cannons near the port and destroy the tower.
  • Warden: pull the lever combination Red, Blue, Green, Blue.
  • Magma General: destroy the pressure points around the volcano.
  • Fishman Lord: find a pearl in one of the clams around the island.
  • Sky Warlord: destroy the dark purple clouds above the temple.
  • Lightning God: ring the golden bell with your fighting style, sword and gun as prompted.
  • Cyborg: fix the cables on the floor, following the parts that light up.

Boss changes in the First Sea

Beyond the awakened versions, the update touched the regular bosses:

  • Removed bosses: Chief Warden and Swan.
  • Revamped bosses: Sky Warlord (formerly Wysper), Lightning God (formerly Thunder God) and Magma General (formerly Magma Admiral).
  • Every boss now has a special theme, icon, health bar and attack indicator, and the possible drops are shown under the boss bar before you fight.
  • When you get close to a boss, the camera pans toward it while its eyes glow red.

For example, the wiki lists the Lightning God as a level 575 boss in the second area of Upper Skylands, and the Sky Warlord as a level 500 boss in the first area of Upper Skylands. Check each boss page for its current quest, drops and health, because those pages are updated more often than any guide.

The Magnet fruit

Magnet is the new fruit of the update. The wiki lists it as a Mythical, Natural-type fruit that costs 6,000,000 Beli or 3,500 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer. It grants magnetokinesis: you collect metal scraps to fill a Magnetic Power meter, your mechanical arms grow larger across three stages, and a full meter lets you transform into a large robot. Flight is available in both the base and transformed forms.

Passives

  • Magnetic Power: scraps fill the meter. Across the three stages the M1 combo grows from 3 hits to 4 and then 5, damage reduction in the base form rises from 1% to 20%, and jetpack flight speed increases. Taking damage drains a small amount of the meter.
  • Flux Draw: a magnetic field that pulls nearby opponents toward you, stronger as the meter fills.
  • Repulsor Field: while transformed, about 62.5% damage reduction on all attacks and about 70% on gun attacks, falling to about 30% against lightning-based attacks. The transformed X and C moves gain hyper armor.

Base moveset

  • Z, Scrap Arsenal (mastery 1, 40 energy, 10 second cooldown): tap to fire four homing magnetic projectiles, hold for a concentrated beam.
  • X, Magnetic Overcharge (mastery 100, 60 energy): tap for a compact magnetic cage around a target, hold for a larger one that hits an area.
  • C, Polarizing Drop (mastery 225, 100 energy): tap to grab an opponent and slam them, hold for a wide wave that pulls in enemies and scrap and fills the meter.
  • V, Maximum Overdrive (mastery 300, 10 energy): assembles a mech suit from nearby scrap. While transformed you lose the ability to use fighting styles, swords and guns.
  • F, Polarity Drive (mastery 75, 50 energy): tap for a grabbing dash, hold for jetpack flight, and after three seconds the Hyperspeed flight mode.

Several cooldowns are still marked as to be announced on the wiki page, so we do not list numbers we cannot confirm. The wiki also documents a separate transformed moveset, and the V move while transformed ejects you from the suit before it self-destructs.

Advanced Combat

Advanced Combat is a First Sea fighting style, described by the wiki as a direct successor to Combat. It is taught by the Secrets Master in Middle Town and it has several time-based steps, which the wiki calls one of the most time-consuming styles to obtain. In short:

  1. 1Complete all Island Secrets, then talk to the Secrets Master and choose "Tell me some stories". He tells you three stories, each describing an island.
  2. 2Use the Middle Town teleporter to visit the islands in the order given. The wiki then lists a longer sequence through the starter islands, Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, Lower Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City, Upper Skylands and Fountain City, ending with a return to the Starter Island for the final secret.
  3. 3Go to the Remove Blox Fruit NPC at the top of Prison, remove your fruit, and choose "Remove my Fighting Style" to be given Combat.
  4. 4Defeat one of each Awakened Boss using Combat only. Each kill restores part of the Middle Town fountain, and once it is restored the Secrets Master can give you Advanced Combat.

The wiki says there is no level requirement apart from the levels earned from the Island Secrets, that server hopping is recommended for the awakened boss step, and that other players may help as long as you use only Combat. Finishing it also grants the title Class S.

Revamped islands, NPCs and models

The wiki lists these locations as revamped: Pirate Starter, Marine Starter, Middle Town, Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City, Upper Skylands, Fountain City, Whirlpool and Jean-Luc Island.

New Quest NPCs are the Desert Merchant, Angel Guard, Secrets Master and Colosseum Emperor. New miscellaneous NPCs are the Angel Guard, Tavern Owner and Janus. Six accessory models were redone: Black Cape, Tomoe Ring, Marine Cap, Coat, Cool Shades and Swordsman Hat.

Interface, gameplay and shop changes

The update also changed a lot of how the game feels to use. The wiki lists:

  • A new loading screen and team selection UI, a reworked HUD and stats menu, and a new NPC dialogue UI.
  • A reworked Player Profile with new tabs, friend indicators and search.
  • Weapon Dealers let you examine weapons before buying, and Boat Dealers let you preview boats. The Luxury Boat Dealer's boats moved to the Boat Dealer.
  • The Blox Fruit Gacha moved to Middle Town, and Dragon became obtainable through it.
  • All in-game defenses were reduced by 25%: Aura defense by 15% and maximum health by 10%.
  • The burn damage of Spirit's X move was removed, then re-added in the September 5 patch notes.
  • The mastery level cap for fishing rods was increased.

The Magnet Event and its rewards

The Magnet Event ran as a limited-time event and the wiki marks it as ended. Magnetized enemies spawned around the world during a Magnet Night Event and dropped Magnet Tokens, which were spent at the Magnet Gacha at 500 tokens per roll, with a roll cooldown of two hours shared with the Random Fruit gacha. Its prize pool included a random fruit that was not Common, limited profile backgrounds and accessories, and a chance at the Summer 2026 Chromatic Box. Because the event is over, the tokens and gacha are only useful as history, but the update page also documents the skins that arrived: Lime Blade, Scarlet Ghost, Starlight Gravity, Runic Fiend (Yeti) and Arcsteel Magnet, with Topaz Diamond and Yellow Lightning returning.

Patches after launch

The wiki records follow-up patches on September 5, 7, 10 and 22. They fixed secret quests that awarded fewer than five levels, a memory issue that stopped the game loading for some players, a Dragon transformed Race V4 bug and a flying-on-a-mounted-dragon issue, plus many interface and mobile fixes. The September 22 patch fixed the final secret levels and the Advanced Combat quest stalling at 10 of 11 bosses, improved the inventory with favoriting, sorting and console controls, and applied secret changes to Upper Skylands, Lower Skylands, Prison and Pirate Village.

What to do first

A sensible order, based on the mechanics above: check the Secrets Master and the "Rumor" dialogue on quest NPCs to find Island Secrets, finish all three on the islands you can reach so the Middle Town teleporter opens, and keep an eye on the Secret Levels message above your EXP bar. If you want Magnet, remember the wiki price of 6,000,000 Beli or 3,500 Robux and that the transformation removes fighting styles, swords and guns while active.
