Description
Darkbeard is a Lv. 1000 Raid Boss. Darkbeard will spawn if a player goes to the middle of the Dark Arena and walk into the altar while holding a Fist of Darkness. Upon summoning Darkbeard, the sky will turn dark, and everyone will be alerted with a system message announcing in big, red letters: "The power of darkness has been unleashed". Every player's screen will shake and there will be a thunder sound effect which can be heard across the entire server. The effects will go away once he despawns or is defeated.

Combat Tips
- It is recommended for the player to set their spawn point at the Snow Mountain, the Green Zone, the Kingdom of Rose or the Ice Castle, as they are close to the Dark Arena.
- Players can also use Portal's to teleport to the arena directly.
- It is recommended to have at least five Second Sea players or two Third Sea players to defeat Darkbeard (a single player can still defeat him, but it is more difficult).
- It is recommended to use high damaging fruits like Lightning, Spider, or Venom. These fruits also have great stun and long range, which will be helpful for preventing Darkbeard from retaliating. *
- Buddha is excellent against Darkbeard and with enough skill, as the player can solo him. M1 spamming against him will be extremely effective. *
- Flash Step to avoid Dark Bomb will help greatly. However, the hitbox is very large and is punishable. The user might be hit by un-allied players, so it's best to ally when possible.
- It is also recommended to sky camp and attack Darkbeard with long range moves as most of its moves are ground based attacks.
- Recommended fighting styles are Sanguine Art,Death Step, or Electric Claw as they do a lot of damage (especially if the player is a Buddha user).
- It is possible to defeat Darkbeard alone. If the player decides to do so, it is recommended to keep a long distance so he cannot use his special attacks on them.
- Darkbeard uses a move around every two seconds, so it is recommended to keep moving around to dodge his attacks.
- Darkbeard also uses Flash Step, although he does not use it often and is able to spam his moves, which makes the fight more difficult.
- It is recommended to be careful when fighting Darkbeard, as other players will most likely get to the Arena and can kill the player, whether accidentally or on purpose, unless they are already allied. Use mobility moves if needed. ==Trivia==

Other Bosses
Darkbeard — In-Depth Analysis
Darkbeard is the legendary raid boss of the First Sea's Dark Arena — one of the original end-game targets that still holds relevance at level 1,000+. His HP pool is 1,250,000, making him the toughest First Sea boss by a significant margin, and his Dark-fruit moveset includes a screen-wide quake attack that hits for 3,500–5,000 damage without mitigation. The jewel of his drop table is the Dark Fragment required to unlock Darkbeard's signature quest rewards, plus the Black Cape accessory (~3%) and guaranteed Beli stacks. Spawn requires summoning at the Dark Arena altar — it's not automatic.
Darkbeard is immune to the first 2,500 damage from every single hit, making low-damage-per-hit builds almost useless. You need fruits or weapons that hit for 5,000+ per move — Dragon (Awakened), Magma (Awakened), or Rumble (Awakened) are the go-to choices. His quake attack has a 3-second tell with a visible screen shake; use any mobility move upward and the hitbox entirely misses you. Bring 2–3 players at minimum — solo kills are possible but require a perfectly optimized build at level 2,400+.
Darkbeard remains one of the most iconic farming targets in Blox Fruits. The Black Cape at 3% is a flex piece with strong trade value, and the summoning requirement means organized server groups can control the kill cycle efficiently. Budget 20–40 summons for the cape. Fragment yield per kill is top-tier for First Sea, and the prestige of a Darkbeard kill never gets old. If you're transitioning to Second Sea and want a final First Sea milestone, this is it.
