Magnet is the brand new Mythical fruit from Update 30, the "Sea 1 Rework" released on September 5, 2026. It lets you control metal scraps, fly with a jetpack and turn into a giant robot. It also came with its own limited event, the Magnet Event, which the wiki marks as ended. This guide explains the fruit and the event in plain language. All facts come from the community wiki pages for Magnet, Magnet Token, Magnet Gacha and the Summer 2026 Chromatic Box, not from our own in-game testing. Several cooldowns on the wiki are still marked "TBA", so numbers may change.

The Magnetic Power meter
The fruit's core idea is the Magnetic Power meter. You fill it by collecting metal scraps from the ground. As it grows, your mechanical arms upgrade across three visual stages, which raises your M1 damage and combo length, increases your damage reduction in base form (from 1% up to 20%) and speeds up your jetpack flight. Taking damage drains the meter a little.
The wiki also lists a passive called Flux Draw. It gives you a magnetic field that pulls nearby opponents toward you, and the pull gets stronger with the meter:
- Stage 1: no pull.
- Stage 2: a moderate magnetic aura that keeps pulling nearby targets.
- Stage 3: a much bigger pull radius and faster pull, so targets have trouble dashing away.
The M1 combo grows with the stages too: a 3-hit combo at stage 1, 4 hits at stage 2 and 5 hits at stage 3.
Every move
| Key | Move | Mastery | What it does (wiki summary) |
|---|---|---|---|
| TAP | Metallic Jabs | none | Metal-arm punches whose combo grows with the meter |
| Z | Scrap Arsenal | 1 | Tap: four homing magnetic projectiles that pull enemies. Hold: a concentrated beam |
| X | Magnetic Overcharge | 100 | Tap: a small magnetic cage around enemies. Hold: a much bigger cage with area damage |
| C | Polarizing Drop | 225 | Tap: grab, lift and slam an enemy. Hold: a wide wave that pulls in enemies and scrap and fills the meter |
| V | Maximum Overdrive | 300 | Builds a mech suit from scrap |
| F | Polarity Drive | 75 | Tap: a forward grab that unequips the enemy's sword. Hold: jetpack flight |
Some details the wiki adds:
- Z, Scrap Arsenal. The tapped projectiles can stack to make a bigger area and stronger pull. The wiki lists Z with a 10 second cooldown and 40 energy.
- C, Polarizing Drop. When held, it absorbs loose scrap right away, so it is a quick way to fill your meter. It has hyper-armor when held, meaning enemies cannot interrupt it.
- F, Polarity Drive. Held, it starts a magnetic jetpack that lets you use skills in the air. Taking multiple hits within 10 seconds of the start cancels it. Press F again while flying to launch the jetpack forward as a projectile.
- V, Maximum Overdrive. While transformed you cannot use fighting styles, swords or guns.

The mech suit form
Transformed, you become a large robot made of scrap. The wiki lists these points:
- Repulsor Field: about 62.5% damage reduction on all attacks and about 70% on gun attacks, but only about 30% against lightning-based attacks. Transformed X and C get hyper-armor.
- You can walk on water and jump very high, similar to the Mammoth fruit.
- The mech form cannot gain more Magnetic Power, and the wiki says the meter drains quickly, lasting only about 20 to 25 seconds.
- It is extremely slow, and you are locked in place for a split second after landing from a high place.
- You take high damage from Lightning attacks.
- Untransforming makes the suit explode and pull in nearby targets for heavy area damage.
What players like and dislike
The wiki's overview lists these strengths for the normal form: high damage, a reliable M1 at stage 3, moves that combo well together, and a passive that helps cancel knockback. Polarizing Drop is called an extremely powerful stun with a very low cooldown, and Polarity Drive has good range and mobility.
The listed weaknesses: the meter drops when you get hit, mastery requirements are high so it is not viable for First Sea players, and it is hard to obtain because it is new. Stage 1 M1 damage is described as very low. The tapped Z does bad damage unless you stack it, and X has bad end-lag.

The Magnet Event (ended)
The Update 30 patch notes list the Magnet Event as a new event and mark it as ended. The wiki describes it like this:
- It happened once every hour at XX:00 for 10 minutes ("Magnet Night").
- You defeated Magnetized enemies that spawned around the world. About 2 or 3 spawned per island, and no new ones spawned after they were defeated.
- Their health and damage scaled with your level.
- Magnetized enemies could use Magnet's tap attack. Overcharged Magnetized enemies could also use Magnet's Z.
- They dropped Magnet Tokens.
- After 20 kills in one event, the tokens from the remaining enemies were reduced by 30%.

The wiki's tips for token farming were to use Portal fast travel between islands, to use fast fruits like Eagle, Light or Kitsune to move quickly, and to farm in a private server so you do not share enemies. For the Third Sea it suggested Sea of Treats, an area of five close islands. It also said you could gain 650 to 800 tokens quickly there while wearing the Coral Crown or Shark Cape, which multiply token gain by 25% and 30%. Not every island had Magnetized enemies; the wiki lists Marine Starter, Fountain City, Upper Skylands, Kingdom of Rose, Haunted Ship and Great Tree as exceptions. Also, if you were not in the server before the event started, it would not start for you, even in a private server.
Magnet Tokens and the Magnet Gacha

The Magnet Token is a Common material with a max of 5,000. You needed 500 tokens for one roll at the Magnet Gacha, which sits inside the Blox Fruit Gacha menu in Middle Town, the Cafe and the Mansion. A roll can be done once every two hours, and the cooldown is shared with the normal Random Fruit gacha.
The wiki lists this prize pool:
- A random Blox Fruit, excluding Common ones. The wiki says this gacha had better odds of good fruits than the regular Blox Fruit gacha.
- A limited profile background called Beach and Vibes (Frame Break).
- Two limited accessories, the Coral Crown and the Shark Cape.
- A Summer 2026 Chromatic Box, labeled as a Premium Box.
Rolling a limited item gave an extra roll afterward. The wiki's Update 30 notes also say the gacha could give a skinned fruit from the Chase Reward tier.
The Summer 2026 Chromatic Box
This box could be bought in the shop with Robux: 199 for one, 575 for three, 1,699 for ten and 8,495 for fifty. It gives previously unobtainable and new fruit skins:
| Skin | Rarity | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Lime Blade | Rare | 33% |
| Topaz Diamond | Uncommon | 25% |
| Scarlet Ghost | Rare | 22% |
| Yellow Lightning | Legendary | 13% |
| Starlight Gravity | Mythical | 5% |
| Runic Fiend (Yeti) | Mythical | 1% |
| Arcsteel Magnet | Mythical | 1% |

The wiki also lists a pity system that guarantees a skin after opening a set number of boxes, from 4 boxes for Lime Blade up to 125 boxes for Arcsteel Magnet. It adds that the community found the box expensive and that the wiki advises against buying it. Boxes cost real money, so ask a parent before buying anything, and remember that skins do not change how strong a fruit is.
Should you save for Magnet?
At 6,000,000 Beli it is more expensive than most beginner options, and the wiki says it is not viable in the First Sea because of its mastery requirements. A better plan is to learn the Magnetic Power meter on a fruit you already own and keep farming. Check the in-game description for updated cooldowns, since the wiki still lists several as to be announced.
