Blox Fruits Tiger & Werewolf Fruit Guide: Moves & Forms

Guide
By RBLXGUIDESunday, October 11, 20267 min read

Quick Summary

Everything the wiki lists about the Tiger fruit and its Werewolf mutation: price, moves, Fire Meter, Blazing Form, how Werewolf was obtained and what changed in the November 2025 patch.

Tiger is the Beast-type fruit that replaced Leopard in the Halloween update, and Werewolf is its spooky mutation. Many young players ask which one to pick, how the transformation works and what the strange Fire Meter is. This guide collects what the community wiki documents about both. It was released as part of Update 28 on October 31, 2025. Everything here comes from the wiki's Tiger, Werewolf and Updates pages, not from our own in-game testing, and balance numbers can change after patches.

You can see Tiger's database entry on our Tiger fruit page. A mutation is a changed version of a fruit that you get on top of the original, so Werewolf needs Tiger to exist.

The passives that matter

Both fruits share the same system, so learn it once.

  • Fire Meter. A meter fills while you are transformed and as you land moves. At 75% you can use the held (cutscene) version of the C move, and at 100% you can enter Blazing Form.
  • Lava Immunity. Once transformed you are immune to lava puddles in places like Hot and Cold, Magma Village and the Flame and Magma raids, but not to the lava on Prehistoric Island.
  • Ferocious Feline (Tiger) / Ferocious Canine (Werewolf). The transformation itself. You become a tiger-human or wolf-human hybrid with extra speed, a jump boost and a dash boost, but you cannot switch to a fighting style, sword or gun while transformed.
  • Blazing Form. After the Fire Meter is full you can transform a second time. Your moveset changes, cooldowns drop by 50% compared with base form, and the transform bonuses nearly double. It lasts 60 seconds.
  • Overheat. When Blazing Form ends, because the meter runs out or you untransform early, you overheat. Your transformation is disabled and your speed drops by roughly 30%. For Tiger the wiki says the overheat lasts about half the time you spent in Blazing Form, for example 15 seconds after 30 seconds.

The moveset

The wiki lists the same five moves for Tiger and for Werewolf, with the same mastery requirements and the same base cooldowns for the normal form. The animations and some hitboxes differ.

KeyMoveMastery neededBase cooldown
ZFinger Revolver113.5 s
XSpiraling Kick5018 s
CAfterimage Assault10022 s
VTransformation3006.75 s
FBody Flicker20013.5 s

What each move does, according to the wiki:

  • Finger Revolver (Z). Shoots an explosive spectral head. Held, it fires several smaller heat-seeking heads that stun briefly and then a larger one. On Werewolf the heads are purple wolf heads.
  • Spiraling Kick (X). On the ground, a spinning kick that makes a vertical saw-like blade of air and drags enemies. In the air, a tornado kick makes a horizontal blade. The initial hit breaks Instinct.
  • Afterimage Assault (C). Rapid random teleports forward, then a ground smash with fire. Werewolf has a custom cutscene on this move and less knockback than Tiger.
  • Transformation (V). Turns you into the hybrid form. The startup breaks Instinct.
  • Body Flicker (F). Teleports behind the enemy and kicks them far away. The wiki compares the Werewolf version to Yeti's C move.

Transformed, the cooldowns drop a lot. The wiki lists, for example, Z at 13.5 seconds, X at 12 seconds, C at 14.7 seconds and F at 9 seconds in the first transformation. In Blazing Form they go down further, with Z at 6.75, X at 9, C at 11 and F at 6.75 seconds.

Tiger versus Werewolf

The wiki describes Werewolf as trading some reach for staying power. Compared with Tiger, it has reduced speed, accuracy and hitboxes, in exchange for stronger offense and self-sustain. The sustain comes from a passive lifesteal while transformed, and from the fact that defeating an enemy in transformed form makes you "devour" them and restores health. Its Blazing Form is listed as healing a portion of your maximum health.

The wiki's own pros for Werewolf:

  • High damage and a high trade value.
  • Great mobility, and all moves can hit more than one target.
  • Many moves break Instinct.

And the cons:

  • It is not recommended for First Sea or early Second Sea players because of the high mastery requirements and mediocre grinding.
  • It is expensive and hard to obtain.
  • Cooldowns in base form are long compared with other Beast fruits.
  • All moves can be dodged with Instinct.
  • It can be countered by Ice, because Werewolf does not heal or stun well enough against it.

Compared with Werewolf, the wiki notes that Tiger's Z is overall easier to hit and that Werewolf moves more slowly than Tiger. Both fruits lock you out of fighting styles, swords and guns while transformed.

How Werewolf was obtained

The wiki lists these ways to get Werewolf, and several were tied to the 2025 Halloween event:

  1. 1Rolling it at the Halloween Gacha Dealer (the grand prize, 500 Candy Corn per roll).
  2. 2Buying it for 1,500 Robux from the mutation section of the Tiger fruit, if you own a permanent Tiger.
  3. 3Buying the Hunter Bundle during the 2025 Halloween event.
  4. 4Trading with another player.
  5. 5Finding it spawn on the map like a normal fruit during the 2025 Halloween event.

Because the event is over, methods 1, 3 and 5 are not available now. The wiki's Events page marks Halloween 2025 as concluded. You can read the full event recap in our Halloween event guide.

The Unbound Werewolf boss

The Unbound Werewolf raid boss used Werewolf moves during the event. The wiki says that despite being based on the mutation, he used a recolor of Tiger's transformed Finger Revolver, which led editors to guess that Werewolf might first have been planned as a skin. This is a fan theory on the wiki, not an official statement. See the Unbound Werewolf entry.

Patch changes after launch

The wiki records two balance patches for these fruits.

October 31, 2025 (Tiger and Werewolf):

  • M1 hits in transformed and Blazing Form now break Instinct.
  • The final projectile of Z breaks Instinct and has a larger area and hitbox.
  • X breaks Instinct on the ground and in the air.
  • C got improved hitboxes for grabbing and punching.
  • F no longer damages you in Blazing Form when used on enemies.
  • Werewolf: defeating an enemy in Blazing Form fully restores health.

November 6, 2025:

  • Werewolf's X Blazing Form got 80% more damage and an improved hitbox drag, and it no longer traps enemies on the ground or walls.
  • C Burning Form damage increased, and F Burning Form breaks observation, with F damage increased.
  • Transformed C can now be dodged.
  • M1 push-forward was reduced by 50% for Werewolf and the Tiger M1 forward thrust was reduced by 66%.
  • Tiger's abilities in Burning Form were enhanced and given the same benefits as awakened X on Werewolf.

These patches show the developers adjusting the fruits quickly after release, so check the in-game description before you rely on any number.

Is Tiger worth it for a young player?

The wiki's advice points to a clear order. Tiger costs 5,000,000 Beli, which is a lot for a beginner, and its mastery requirements are high (300 mastery for the V transformation). Werewolf adds a Robux cost on top of owning Tiger. If you are still in the First Sea, the wiki says it is not recommended yet. A reasonable plan is to level up, raise mastery on a cheaper fruit first and save Beli. Do not spend real money on the mutation without asking a parent, and trade carefully.

Quick tips

  • Build your Fire Meter by landing moves, then use Blazing Form for its shorter cooldowns.
  • Do not use Blazing Form just to end it early, because the overheat disables your transformation.
  • Remember you cannot use swords, guns or fighting styles while transformed.
  • Against Ice users the wiki suggests Werewolf struggles, so keep a plan B.
  • Always read the latest patch notes, because both fruits were changed twice in the first week of November 2025 alone.
