Halloween is the event kids ask about the most in Blox Fruits, so here is a clear recap of how the last one worked. The community wiki documents the Halloween Event 2025, released with Update 28 (the "Tiger Update") on October 31, 2025. The wiki marks that event as over. As of October 11, 2026, the wiki's Events page and its Updates list do not describe any Halloween 2026 event, and the latest numbered update it lists is Update 30. Some fan sites are guessing at a new Halloween release, but nothing on the wiki confirms it. So treat this page as a guide to what the 2025 event looked like and what you can reasonably expect if a similar event returns, not as a promise.
All of the facts below come from the community wiki pages for the event, not from our own in-game testing. The 2025 items are listed as unavailable on the wiki, so do not expect to find them in the game right now.

How Trick or Treating worked
Trick or Treating happened during the Harvest Moon. When it started, the chat showed the message "The harvest moon appears. It's time to trick-or-treat!" and the sky turned orange. The wiki says the Harvest Moon lasted 10 minutes and happened every hour at XX:00 UTC, in all three seas.
During those 10 minutes you walked up to doors on the outside of buildings and interacted with them. Each door was either a treat or a trick:
- Treat doors simply gave Candy Corn. The wiki lists examples such as the Bandit Quest Giver room (5 Candy Corn), the Awakening Expert (7), the Boat Dealer (11), the Dragon Hunter (15) and the Luxury Boat Dealer (40). Some rooms paid more, for example 50 from the Mysterious Scientist and 100 from Shafi.
- Trick doors summoned enemies, and each defeated enemy dropped Candy Corn.

Here are the trick rooms the wiki documents:
| Room | Enemies summoned | Candy Corn per enemy | Total (4 enemies) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cursed Skeleton | 4 Cursed Skeletons | 3 | 12 |
| Necromancer | 4 Vampires | 6 | 24 |
| Gorilla King | 4 Gorillas | 8 | 32 |
| Red Commander | 4 Oni Soldiers | 11 | 44 |
| Rip Commander | 4 Celestial Soldiers | 11 | 44 |
| Yeti | 4 Snowmen | 12 | 48 |
There were also special rooms. In the "Death & Suizei" room you could give your candy to one of two characters: giving it to Death summoned 3 Vampires (75 Candy Corn in total) and giving it to Suizei summoned 6 Vampires (150 in total). In the rip_return room, choosing the refusal option could start a fight with the rip_return boss, who drops 50 Candy Corn. The wiki describes him as a Lv. 2800 boss who revives three times and uses moves from the Ice, Blizzard and Yeti fruits, so he is a real threat to an early-game player.

The Unbound Werewolf raid boss
Sometimes, opening a random door during the Harvest Moon opened a portal to the Observatory. A short cutscene showed the Unbound Werewolf howling, and the raid boss spawned when players went through. The wiki gives these numbers:
- Level 3000, 215,000 health, and it uses Fruit as its weapon.
- It despawns after 7 minutes 30 seconds, and the portal stayed open until the boss was dead or about 10 minutes passed.
- Several players could fight it together. If everyone failed, the message "Time's up, the beast went away." appeared and players were sent to their home points.
- Drops: 400 Candy Corn, one Candy Concoction potion, 1,000 to 1,100 Beli, and 75,000 Bounty/Honor for players under 2.5M.

The boss used moves from the Werewolf fruit, such as the Finger Revolver bullets, the Spiraling Kick, the Afterimage Assault and the Body Flicker grab. The wiki notes that several of these break Instinct, and that stun fruits such as Sand, Ice, Dark and Dough helped in the fight. The boss was also described as glitchy, so results varied. You can read more on our Unbound Werewolf page.
Candy Corn and the Halloween Gacha
Candy Corn came from four places: Trick or Treating, the Unbound Werewolf, the Halloween Chest while fishing (the wiki says this method may not work properly) and the Candy Concoction potion. When thrown, the Candy Concoction made a small dome where players got 5 Candy Corn per second for 10 seconds, so 50 in total.

You spent the candy at the Halloween Gacha Dealer, who stood in Middle Town, the Cafe and the Mansion. A roll cost 500 Candy Corn and could be used up to 4 times per hour.

The prize pool listed on the wiki was:
- A Halloween Material Box (Fish Tail, Ectoplasm, Bones, Gunpowder and Radioactive Material)
- Two profile backgrounds: Full Moon and Halloween Tapestry
- Beli and Fragments
- 15 minutes of 2x EXP
- A random physical Blox Fruit
- Two limited Mythical accessories: Pumpkin Mask and Coven Witch Hat
- Grand prize: the Werewolf physical fruit, the Tiger mutation
The wiki also notes that early in the event the gacha was glitched and some players got infinite rolls; the Werewolf fruits obtained that way were removed from their inventories.
The two Halloween accessories
| Accessory | Rarity | Buffs listed on the wiki |
|---|---|---|
| Pumpkin Mask | Mythical | +20% movement speed, +6% Melee/Sword damage, +5% Melee defense, +250 Health |
| Coven Witch Hat | Mythical | +7% Blox Fruit damage, +10% defense against Blox Fruit attacks, +250 Health |

The wiki's pros and cons are honest: both are fine for beginners, but the buffs are described as mediocre and most legendary accessories are stronger. They were mostly prized as limited-time collectibles.
The Witch and her potions
The Witch stood in Middle Town, the Cafe and outside the Mansion and sold crafted, throwable potions that affect everyone nearby. The wiki says they are mostly for fun and trolling, not for grinding.

| Potion | What it does | Crafting cost on the wiki |
|---|---|---|
| Disguise Elixir | Turns nearby players into a random boss | 1 Fish Tail and 1 Common fish |
| Suspicious Growth Potion | Makes nearby players bigger or smaller | 1 Radioactive Material and 1 Uncommon fish |
| Big Head Elixir | Gives nearby players a huge head | 1 Common fish and 1 Uncommon fish |
| Pumpkin Potion | Puts a pumpkin hat on nearby players | 1 Bone and 1 Rare fish |
| Lava Bomb Elixir | Makes a lava puddle that damages players | 1 Gunpowder and 3 fish of different rarities |
| Monster Mash Elixir | Makes nearby players dance | 30 Ectoplasm and 1 Common fish |

One detail worth knowing: the wiki says the Lava Bomb Elixir only hurts players, not enemies, and that Magma users are not immune.
What else came with Update 28
The Halloween update also reworked Leopard into the Tiger fruit, added the Werewolf mutation, decorated all three seas for Halloween, added Mygame43's bunker under the Cafe, and introduced five new fish (Jack-O-Fish, Jester Clownfish, Zombie Bass, Vampire Squid and Terrorbones) plus two sunken chests (Fall Chest and Halloween Chest). There was also a Halloween Portal, also called the Jack-o-Portal, that teleported players across all seas. For the fruit itself, read our Tiger and Werewolf guide.
What about Halloween 2026?
Here is the honest status. The wiki's Events page lists the Halloween Event 2025 as concluded, and lists the Magnet Event 2026 and the Dog House Event 2026 as the newest events. Nothing on the wiki describes a Halloween 2026 event yet, and we have no official announcement to point to. Past Halloween content in this game has returned in different forms: the wiki also describes Halloween events in 2021 and 2023 that used a currency called Bones. That history suggests the developers like to run a Halloween event, but it is not proof of what or when. Check the game's official page and the wiki Events page for confirmed news.
Quick tips if a similar event returns
- Be in the server before the hour starts. The wiki says the Magnet Event would not start if you were not present before it began, and Harvest Moon timing was also hourly.
- Use the Candy Corn on the gacha only when you have the full 500, since the wiki lists a per-hour limit of 4 rolls.
- Higher-paying treat rooms and the bosses give the most candy per minute, but the bosses are tough for low levels.
- Use a strong stun fruit or a friend for raid bosses.
- Never trade away account items for "free Candy Corn" from strangers. Ask a parent or use only in-game methods.
