How to Obtain
Get struck by lightning in Rough Sea while holding Pole (1st Form).
Description
Obtaining Pole (2nd Form) is one of the most unusual unlock conditions in Blox Fruits: you must be struck by lightning while sailing the Rough Sea with the first-form Pole already in hand. The transformation is entirely RNG-dependent and cannot be forced, so patience and repeated trips through storm-prone waters are part of the grind. Once unlocked, this legendary sword scales with your Sword stat and rewards mastery through consistent use in combat. Its two moves, Hand of God and Electric Prison, hint at an electric theme carried over from its origin — a fitting identity for a weapon literally born from a lightning strike. Because the upgrade method costs nothing but time and luck, Pole (2nd Form) is considered a high-value legendary for players willing to put in the effort. It is a strong choice for sword mains looking for a weapon with a memorable story behind every swing.
Moves & Abilities

Pole (2nd Form) — In-Depth Analysis
What Is Pole (2nd Form)?
Pole (2nd Form) is a Legendary sword with one of the most memorable unlock methods in all of Blox Fruits: you must be holding the Pole (1st Form) when lightning strikes you during a Rough Sea voyage in the Second or Third Sea. No vendor, no Beli cost — just patience and a specific weather event. This dramatic unlock gives it a genuine sense of earned prestige.
Why 2nd Form Outclasses Its Predecessor
The upgrade is substantial. Unlike Lightning-type attacks, Pole (2nd Form) can still damage Rubber users — a significant PvP advantage that most electricity-flavored weapons lack. Both moves break Instinct, making it far more relevant in competitive play than the 1st Form. It also works across any build type, offering good combo potential regardless of whether you lean sword, gun, or fruit.
- Both moves break Instinct — critical for PvP effectiveness - Damages Rubber users unlike Lightning-element attacks - Good stun move and strong combo follow-up potential - Relatively accessible once you reach Second or Third Sea
The weaknesses are real: neither move can damage Sea Beasts, the mastery requirement is high at 350, and Instinct must be broken by hitting the ground or a solid surface rather than on the opponent directly. Short range on both moves also limits opening engagement distance.
Tip: Use Pole (2nd Form)'s moves near terrain — hitting the ground to proc the Instinct-break makes the setup more reliable than trying to hit an airborne enemy directly.
- High stun and damage.
- Unlike Lightning, it can hit Rubber users.
- Good for any build, as it has a good combo potential.
- Both moves break Instinct.
- Very easy to obtain.
- All moves cannot damage Sea Beasts.
- Cannot hit Blade users.
- The M1 attacks are slow.
- High mastery requirement (350 Mastery).
- No mobility moves.
