As a sword, its power scales with the Sword stat, so investing mastery points there is essential before committing to this weapon. Mastery itself climbs as you land hits, meaning regular boss runs in Haunted Castle serve double duty: a chance at the drop and steady progress on the stat line. The two moves, Death Cyclone and Soul Execution, give the Hallow Scythe strong area-denial and finishing potential. The user initiates a stance before releasing an orange-black tornado with a decent hitbox, being able to destroy trees. This move causes knockback to entities hit by the tornado, dealing multiple ticks of damage in one attack.
The user dashes forward, grabbing the nearest enemies, before ending the move with a strike, dealing knockback. This move is not limited to single targets.
