How to Obtain
Complete Saber/Puzzle
Description
Earning the Saber requires effort that most players skip: completing the Saber Puzzle, a multi-step hidden quest that tests your curiosity more than your combat level. That unlock process alone makes it one of the more memorable Legendary swords in the game, rewarding patience with a blade that genuinely performs above its era. Once mastered, the Saber's two moves — Deadly Rush and Triple Slash — give it a respectable close-range kit. Deadly Rush closes distance fast, which is valuable both in PvP and when chasing NPCs, while Triple Slash delivers a rapid sequence of hits that builds your Sword mastery efficiently. Like all swords, every landed hit increases your mastery, so farming with it early pays dividends later. For new players who do the puzzle in the First Sea, the Saber punches well above typical early-game swords. It remains a popular choice precisely because the puzzle unlock feels earned rather than bought.
Moves & Abilities
6 movesThe player does 3 slashes, ending with a stab.
The user charges up, then dashes forward into enemies, damaging everything in their path with blood-red slashes.
The user sends three red air slashes in the direction of their cursor, dragging enemies back slightly whilst doing so.
The player does 3 slashes, ending with a stab.
The user charges up, dashes forward, and this time sends two air slashes flying. This move is, in theory, V1's [Z] combined with V1's [X]. There's an area where the two moves combine, and once the user manages to land it on the enemy, will deal extremely high damage due to it being the equivalent of two sword moves at once.
The user sends a red projectile made out of four beams in the direction of their cursor, doing more damage than its V1 counterpart and having a larger hitbox.

Trivia
10- 1It is recommended to bounty hunt with Ice or Dark along with the Saber, as the player can pull enemies with Dark's [X] ability to the critical [Z] ability range.
- 2The player should aim accurately to deal a critical hit on their opponent. (V2)
- 3Not recommended for beginners since this sword relies heavily on other support weapons to deal damage.
- 4It is possible to do a one-shot combo using just the Last Resort ability along with the [Z] and [X] abilities, if done right.
- 5The Saber is one of the best swords the player can obtain in the First Sea.
- 6The Saber is one of the best swords for grinding, as its M1 deals high damage, with little to no knockback, and has a low cooldown.
- 7The Saber's handguard model cuts into the hilt.
- 8[Z] Deadly Rush is a good combo extender so always try to combo with that (for low level).
- 9The Saber has a very fast one-shot combo, taking only about one second to eliminate an enemy when paired with Godhuman and Portal, provided the user uses the right combo.
- 10The Saber is required to obtain Instinct.
Saber — In-Depth Analysis
What Is Saber?
Saber is a Legendary sword exclusive to the First Sea, and it stands out from the crowd of early-game blades because you cannot simply buy it — it requires completing a dedicated hidden puzzle to unlock. That acquisition method alone gives Saber a sense of identity that most First Sea weapons lack, and it remains a recognizable milestone for players working through Sea 1.
Performance and Who Should Use It
For sword-mains grinding their way through the First Sea, Saber offers solid damage and a respectable hitbox on its skills. Both of its moves can drain Instinct dodges, which gives it surprising depth in early PvP — draining up to six dodges across two skills means a patient player can force their opponent into a vulnerable state before committing to the finisher.
That said, Saber is not without frustration. Its M1 attacks are slow, it cannot hit Blade users, and neither move breaks Instinct directly, so you will always need a stun opener — Ice V or a fighting-style kick — before the slashes land consistently. Mobility is also modest by legendary standards.
- Best role: Sea 1 sword-main progression and early PvP combo chains - Pair with: Godhuman or Sanguine Art for burst gap-closing - Concrete tip: Lead with a stun skill before throwing either Saber move; unguarded enemies receive all slashes for maximum damage.
