CHAOS (Chaos Mode) guide

CHAOS is a vision, not a floor with its own map: picking it in the Lobby floor selector sends you through The Hotel, Doors 0 to 100, with random events layered on top. The wiki added it to the selector on February 5, 2026, removed it, and brought it back on March 17, 2026.

How the events work

A random event fires about every 45 seconds. When a livestream is connected, viewers vote among four options instead, so the audience decides what hits you next. Because the Rift is disabled, a CHAOS run awards no achievements, with one exception: escaping The Hotel.

Other floors

The RANDOM EVENTS modifier can switch CHAOS on in other floors too. In subfloors that needs the Admin Panel.

Which entities appear

CHAOS has no entity roster of its own. The entity pages that name it among their modes are Bramble from The Outdoors, A-60 from The Rooms, and Blitz and Lookman from The Backdoor. That fits a mode built to mix things from across the game rather than to introduce new threats. For planning, treat it as The Hotel's 100 rooms with unpredictable extras, and expect to rely on quick reactions more than on a fixed routine.
