8-Bit Mr. Tentacles guide
A joke fish with a real price tag: 8-Bit Mr. Tentacles belongs to the Admin Events, in the Special rarity class, and the data accepts any time, weather and season. No bait is listed. What you get is a C$10,575 average value, ranked 120th of 742, along with 10,580 base XP.
Weight is not documented for it, so the profile is simple: value and XP, with the two numbers almost identical. That is a convenient way to think about it. Each catch gives roughly one point of XP per coin of sale value.
The Admin Events pool also lists Admin Fish Barrel and Admin Crate at the same rarity, so you may see all three come from the same kind of event. The wiki line says its bits are 8 but someday they will be over 9,000, a nod to the old meme.
Verdict: if you are at an Admin Event, grab it. The sale is a healthy C$10,575 and the XP is the same size, so you do not have to pick one over the other. There is no reason to wait.
