Blackcap Basslet

"A striking deep-reef basslet boasting a brilliant royal magenta body topped with a sharp jet-black head cap" is how the wiki describes the Blackcap Basslet, a Rare fish found in Skycrest. It is documented with Crustacean Mix as bait and a window of Night, Clear weather and the Summer season.

By size it is slight, running from 0.5 kg to 1.5 kg with an average of 1 kg, which gives it 915th place of 1,059 documented fish by maximum weight. Its price is C$406.667 per kg and its average sale value C$407, which lands at 576th of 1,038 fish by average value. The base XP is 400.

Skycrest lists 28 fish in total. Only two others share the Rare rarity there, African Butterflyfish and Populi Blind Catfish, so the Basslet is one of three Rare entries in the zone. The status says it is listed as obtainable.

Verdict: a mid-table earner at C$407 on average; the Night, Clear and Summer requirement is the part that takes planning.
