Cauldron Catfish guide
A cauldron full of green brew gives this fish its identity, and the wiki quote says as much: "Constantly bubbling with green brew and mystical ingredients." Cauldron Catfish is a Limited fish listed under FischFright 2026 and Caustic Hallow, and its entry is marked as obtainable and as a limited/event fish.
It ranges from 30 kg to 80 kg, averaging 55 kg, which puts its maximum weight at rank 374 of 1,059 documented fish. It sells at C$10 per kg, so an average catch is worth C$550, ranked 531 of 1,038 by average value. Base XP is 500.
The listed conditions are Sour Jelly Candy as bait, Rain as weather and Autumn as season; no time of day is given. The FischFright 2026 zone lists 41 fish, and 40 other fish there share the Limited rarity, so this catfish is one of a large event group rather than a lone standout.
Verdict: above the middle by weight and slightly below it by value, so it is worth chasing mainly if you are filling out the FischFright 2026 list.
