Dustveil Ray guide

Drylands is not where most players expect to fish, and Dustveil Ray is the reason to try. This Rare fish is caught in Drylands during Clear weather in Summer; no bait or time of day is listed, and it is obtainable now.

It starts small at 16 kg but can reach 216 kg, with an average of 36 kg, 239th of 663 by maximum weight. At C$5.75 per kg it sells for C$207 on average, 484th of 742 documented fish by value, with 215 base XP. Its value sits in the lower half of the table, a modest return for a Rare.

What helps is the competition: Duneseat Crustacean and Strata-Bound Bass are the other Rare fish in the zone, so you are not looking at a crowded list. If you are in Drylands during summer anyway, a Dustveil Ray is a useful sale and a little XP. It is not a reason to cross the map, and a heavy catch near 200 kg is the only scenario where it pays noticeably better than average.
