Speartail Pike

Speartail Pike only bites when two conditions line up: night and rain. Use Minnow as bait and cast in the bfow zone, where this Unusual fish is listed alongside Warstripe Bass at the same rarity. If the sky is clear or it is daytime, you are waiting for nothing.

The numbers are modest. A typical catch weighs 14 kg, with a range from 8 kg up to 42 kg, and it sells at C$13 per kg for an average of C$182. That puts its average value at 503 of the 742 documented fish, so it sits in the lower half of the economy. On weight it fares a little better, ranking 337 among the 663 fish that have a recorded maximum weight. It also pays 150 base XP per catch.

Verdict: this is a fish you take when the weather already gives you the right window, not one worth planning a session around. The wiki describes it as a lean predator with a tail like a sharpened spear tip, and the payout matches that description of a decent but unspectacular catch. Sell it for steady pocket change and keep your Minnow for fish with a better price per kg.
