About any pets
Pets are a feature added to Grow a Garden on Update 1.04.0 (May 3, 2025). Pets possess unique abilities, having multiple of the same pets can stack their abilities. Players start with 3 equip slots, but can get an additional 5 slots from buying gamepasses from the Limited Time Shop and/or trading aged pets in. Players can hold a maximum of 60 pets in their inventory. As of the Christmas Harvest Update, players can increase it by buying game passes in the Limited Time Shop, trading pets in, Crafting a Pet Pouch, or buying space from the Garden Ascension Shop, with a maximum of 285 pets total. Players can craft a Pet Pouch, which adds +1 space to pet inventory. (maximum of 50 extra slots). It can be crafted with a Common Egg, a Corndog, a Small Treat, a Small Toy, and 50M Sheckles. Garden Ascension makes it possible to increase the pet inventory again through buying pet capacity upgrade worth 40 Garden Coins per stock, which add +10 space and can be bought 15 times before becoming out of stock (including the + upgrades, which cost the same). This means players can get 150 Inventory slots from the shop. (60 by default maximum + 25 by buying game passes or trading pets in + 50 from pet pouches + 150 from buying pet capacity upgrades from ascension shop = 285 total maximum of pet inventory) This limit can be bypassed by getting pets from chests/rewards not buying crates. Keep in mind that to hatch an egg, the player must put it in their garden. Pet Stats depend on their weight. As a pet grows older, its weight increases, making its abilities more efficient — such as reducing cooldowns and/or increasing passives. Mega Pets have better stats even at level 1, except for certain pets like the Triceratops, which have constant stats (regardless of base weight). In the Prehistoric Event, a pet named the Brontosaurus released, allowing players to gain increased weight upon egg hatching. Players can also increase pet age after hatching by using the Ostrich. any pets — In-Depth Analysis
This entry is not a sell multiplier itself but the pets system, the engine that powers many of Grow a Garden's mutations and value boosts behind the scenes. Pets were added in Update 1.04.0 and each one carries a unique ability, and crucially stacking multiple copies of the same pet stacks their abilities, so a dedicated player can compound passive effects that feed directly into faster growth, extra harvests, and mutation procs.
The depth here is in inventory scale. You begin with just 3 equip slots and a 60-pet inventory, but through gamepasses, trading aged pets, crafting Pet Pouches, and the Garden Ascension capacity upgrades you can push all the way to a maximum of 285 pets. That ceiling matters because the more capable pets you can rotate and age up, the more mutation- and value-related abilities you can keep active at once.
Pet power also scales with weight: as a pet ages its weight rises, sharpening its ability by cutting cooldowns or boosting passives, and tools like the Ostrich or Brontosaurus accelerate that aging. Verdict: pets are absolutely worth investing in, since they are the multiplier behind your multipliers rather than a one-time crop proc.
