Amber Spine — In-Depth Analysis

The Amber Spine is a limited, multi-harvest Mythical that dropped in the second week of the Prehistoric Event, and unlike most event crops it was obtained through crafting rather than bought as a seed. That crafting origin reframes its economics entirely: the real "cost" isn't Sheckles, it's the event materials you sank into making it, so its value should be judged against how scarce those crafting inputs were.

The standout trait is the multi-harvest tag. Where single-harvest event crops pay once and vanish, the Amber Spine keeps yielding from the same plant, so a crafted seed amortizes its material cost over many cycles. Combined with its Mythical base — well above Legendary, just under Divine — that recurring yield makes it one of the more genuinely productive limited crops, not just a shelf trophy.

For progression, this is a mid-to-late investment: you needed enough Prehistoric Event footing to gather the crafting materials in the first place. If you secured one, plant it permanently and let weather and Rainbow mutations roll across repeated harvests rather than rushing a single sale. As a no-longer-craftable Mythical, it also carries lasting trade value once the event closed.
