About Crescent Reed
The Crescent Reed is a rare crop that was added to the Harvest Moon Event.
Crescent Reed — In-Depth Analysis
One of the first seeds of the Harvest Moon Event on August 1, 2026, the Crescent Reed is a Rare crop with Leafy, Night and Stalky tags. The wiki offers no appearance text, so the tags describe it best: a tall, nocturnal plant that fits the moon theme.
The seed had two sources. In the Moon Event Shop it cost 25 Moon Coin or 179 Robux, and the Harvest Moon Merchant sold it for 7,500,000 Sheckles, with a 25% chance to restock. Of the Moon-themed seeds in the same event, this is a cheap entry, which is typical for Rare tier. The wiki still marks the crop as obtainable, although it phrases the sources in the past tense, so confirm in the game that the shop or merchant still offers it.
Crescent Reed is multi-harvest, meaning one purchase can produce over many harvests rather than a single payout. As with every crop, mutations multiply the sell value, and repeated harvests give extra chances to roll one. A cheaper Rare plant like this one is a good candidate for filling spare garden space while you save for a rarer seed.
