Unlike a Divine or Mythical companion, an Uncommon pet was never meant to anchor your endgame; it carried no seed cost, sell price, or growth time because it is a creature, not produce. The honest read is that the Hyrax is an early-to-mid progression helper rather than a profit engine.

Because it sits at the Uncommon tier, its passive effect is modest, so the math favors using it while your garden is still cheap to run. A small sell-value or mutation nudge matters far more proportionally when you are farming low-cost crops than when you are deep into expensive Divine plants, where stronger pets dominate. Slot it in early, then retire it once better companions arrive.
