Artichoke

The Artichoke is a limited uncommon crop that was only obtainable through the Cooking Event, and that pairing of a low rarity with limited availability creates an unusual economic profile. On raw stats, uncommon produce sells for very little per harvest — nowhere near a legendary or divine — so nobody grows an Artichoke to get rich off Sheckles. Its value comes almost entirely from the limited tag: the supply is closed, so the appeal is scarcity and completion, not yield.

This makes the Artichoke a textbook collector and event-recipe crop rather than a profit engine. If you picked it up during the Cooking Event, the best use is usually feeding the event's own cooking or crafting goals, or holding it as a now-unobtainable shelf piece, rather than mass-selling cheap uncommon fruit.

If you do plant it for value, lean on the only lever that matters at this tier: mutations do the heavy lifting. A Gold or Rainbow multiplier turns an otherwise trivial uncommon into something actually worth listing, and since the Artichoke can no longer be re-bought, a high-mutation specimen carries genuine rarity. Grow it whenever convenient — there is no rush economics here, only the satisfaction of a finished, limited collection.
