Because it was pitched at Mythical rarity, the intended ceiling was high — Mythical sits among the upper base-value tiers in Grow a Garden, above rare and legendary in raw payout. Had it shipped through the Trader Event, you would likely have spent event currency or trades rather than plain Sheckles to obtain it, making its real "cost" event participation. The wood theming hints it may have been planned as a slow-growing, high-value tree-style crop.

There is nothing to plant or budget for here. Treat Mahogany as lore and roadmap context — useful for understanding what the Trader Event nearly included, and a reminder that scrapped Mythicals occasionally resurface in later updates. If it is ever reinstated, the standard high-tier playbook would apply: grow few, mutate hard.
