Season Pass — In-Depth Analysis
The Season Pass is the progression backbone that shipped with the Seed Stages Event, and judged purely as farming economics it is one of the strongest currency sinks in the game. You level it by completing quests for XP across 50 total tiers, drawing rewards that span pets, gears, seeds, eggs and cosmetics, a spread that touches almost every profit lever a gardener has.
The real decision is Free versus Premium. The Free Pass pays out through normal gameplay at zero cost, so any active player should be claiming those rewards regardless. The Premium Pass is purchasable and giftable, and crucially its rewards are upgraded versions of the same tiers, meaning you are paying for a multiplier on rewards you would partly earn anyway. The math favors Premium only if you intend to grind the full 50 levels, otherwise you leave paid tiers unclaimed.
Two extra wrinkles matter: you can skip tiers or the whole season for currency, and every 10,000 XP past level 50 rolls into Extra Rewards, so high-volume farmers keep compounding value rather than capping out. Buy Premium early in a season to maximize the windows; skipping should be a last resort.
