Base moveset
- The Disgraced OneCOSMETIC
Gives you a large dark red aura and menacing music, reflecting the King of Curses' reputation.
EffectGrants a special aura cosmetic - Ten CutsPASSIVE
The awakening button switches between the Shrine and Ten Shadows movesets; the first three slots share cooldowns. The last M1 becomes a wide 360-blockable slash, disabling uppercuts and downslams.
EffectGrants weaker counterparts of Vessel's Shrine and Ten Shadows' Switch - Lurking ShadowSPECIAL
Sink into your shadow for 1.15 seconds with much higher walk speed; all abilities except Rabbit Escape are disabled and you stay vulnerable. Leave early with special or M1.
Cooldown10sInterruptible - Lurking ShadowSPECIAL VARIANT
Entering while holding an item or throwable stores it in the shadow (one at a time); an M1 inside retrieves it.
Cooldown10sInterruptible - Combat InstinctsSPECIAL VARIANT
Using the special during Cursed Strikes' windup cancels the attack with no endlag and keeps the move off cooldown.
Cooldown2sInterruptible - DismantleMove 1

Waves an arm to cut everything in range and reappear in an instant near it.
Damage10Cooldown15sUnblockableHits ragdolled targets - SpiderwebAIR VARIANT · Cleave
In the air, you dash to slam the ground, then apply Cleave to slice everything around you, knocking opponents upward.
Damage10, 5 for slam, 5 for CleaveCooldown15sUnblockableHits ragdolled targets - RushMove 3
Rushes in a straight line; on collision it hurls the target, chases them for an upward knee kick, then slams them down. Does not trigger Mahoraga's body switch.

Used inside Lurking Shadow, you hop out of the puddle on rabbits, rising into the air and knocking nearby foes away. It is unblockable but counterable, since it is melee.
Damage14Cooldown18sUnblockableInterruptibleHits ragdolled targetsMelee - NueMove 2
Summons the winged shikigami Nue to swoop toward your cursor. It flies faster at ragdolled enemies and cannot be summoned while Rabbit Escape holds a grounded target.

Pressing the special during windup lets you grab Nue's leg and fly with it briefly. Airborne targets can block it from any side; Lurking Shadow need not be ready.

Pros and cons
Pros
- The awakening button switches between two movesets, one with four moves and one with three.
- Several large area-of-effect moves.
- Its awakening meter does not drain, so you can stay as The Fallen indefinitely.
- Respawning gives the Vessel user all their awakening back; the wiki says this is likely a bug.
- Using a move and then switching techniques before it leaves cooldown keeps the other technique's matching move off cooldown; the wiki says this is likely a bug.
Cons
- Extremely hard to obtain: you must interrupt one specific move's windup while playing one specific character.
- The moveset is not given back when you respawn.
- The music and the imposing aura put a target on your back.
- As fragile as Ten Shadows; the wiki cites 85 max HP.
- It cannot get an awakening moveset.
- Despite the difficult unlock, it is much weaker than an ordinary awakening moveset and is treated like a high-tier base moveset.
About The Fallen
The Fallen is a secret character, and the wiki calls it extremely hard to obtain: while playing Vessel, you must interrupt a Ten Shadows player's Mahoraga ritual with Vessel's Rush. It arrived in V1.84, and the wiki treats it as a character, not a Super Awakening. It is based on Ryomen Sukuna.
The awakening button flips between two techniques, a Shrine set and a Ten Shadows set, both weaker copies of the originals. The Shrine side has Dismantle (16 damage, 13 seconds), Cleave (10, 15), Rush (25, 15) and Cursed Strikes (17.5, 14). The other side brings Rabbit Escape (14 damage, 18 seconds), Nue (16, 20) and Toad (15 seconds). The first three slots share cooldowns. The awakening meter does not drain, so you can stay in the form indefinitely.
The price is steep. The moveset is not returned when you respawn, the dark red aura and music mark you as a target, and there is no awakening moveset. The wiki's cons cite 85 max HP, like Ten Shadows, while the table lists 100, so treat health as uncertain. The wiki concludes it plays like a high-tier base moveset, far below an ordinary awakening.
