Chances are copied as printed in the box's table on the MM2 Wiki. When the table repeats one figure next to every item of a rarity (for example 70% beside each Common), those figures add up to more than 100%, so they describe the rarity as a whole, not each item.

Knife Box 3 guide
Knife Box 3 was added on April 7, 2015, only nine days before Gun Box 3. It uses the same price as the rest of the Classic boxes: 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds or 1 Mystery Key, up from the 200 Coins it cost before Season 1.
The knives, by tier:
- 70% common: Clan, Cherry, Cardboard, Stainless.
- 15% uncommon: Circuit, Doge, Paper.
- 10% rare: Nova, Vortex.
- 5% legendary: Splash.
- 0.2% godly: Saw.
- 0.004% godly Chroma: Chroma Saw.
The legendary here is the knife version of Splash. That matters because Mystery Box 2 also contains a Splash, but there it is a gun, so the name alone does not tell you which weapon a player means. The wiki keeps separate pages for Splash as a knife and Splash as a gun for that reason.
Saw is the box's headline item, and the Chroma variant is the rarest line in the table. Nothing in the page mentions guns, event currencies or limited-time availability.
